The young woman is smart and attractive, she is a major in the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department. Among colleagues and management is appreciated as a wonderful specialist. But at one far from perfect moment, some circumstances of her personal life surfaced, because of which she had to leave the city: Ali had an affair with her immediate superior’s son-in-law ... This put an end to her fostered career, Borzova quit.
Life changes
For personal reasons, investigator Alevtina Sergeyevna was forced to file a report on dismissal from the MUR. Moreover, she had to part with her beloved man, who was played by charming Vladislav Reznik.
The painting "Moscow Greyhound", the actors for which were selected very carefully, frame-by-frame reveals the life story of the main character.
Her former leader, General Grishin, played by actor Vladimir Litvinov, suggested that she head the department for particularly serious crimes. True, not in Moscow, but in Nizhny Novgorod. Ala accepts his offer, because she can no longer and does not want to stay in the capital.
She begins to build life in a new place.

But the very first days in a new place show her that her current subordinates are absolutely not the people who will receive her with open arms and will carry out all orders.
Maxim Reshetnikov is perhaps most dissatisfied with the current situation: he himself hoped to sit in this chair, heading the department.
Among colleagues Ali there are quite interesting characters. Completely uncontrollable Nikolai Gorokhov (actor Alexander Ratnikov), who from time to time applies prohibited measures of physical impact to the detainees.
Taras Ivashchenko (actor Nikolai Lunin), who is called "constant misfortune."
Very calm, though, at first glance, Tosha Tumanov (actor Sergei Mukhin), who served in Chechnya and received a concussion there.
The new chief Ali does not seem to show any antipathy to her at all, because he is fully confident that the girl will not withstand the difficulties of life in the province and will return back to Moscow.

It is clear that as a serious adult man, Borzova did not think that she would be accepted with open arms and a self-collected tablecloth. But even in her worst dreams, she did not think that she would have to do this ... Nobody listened to her, showing complete disobedience, and simply ignored the orders. In general, subordinates made a real sabotage. In her opinion, such behavior does not fit into the concept of subordination and properly organized work.
And now, when the new colleagues have united against Borzova with the goal of surviving from the department, Alya is simply obliged to prove to herself every day that she will overcome everything.
She must prove to herself and to her colleagues around her that she has a strong and strong character, that she is a true professional in her field, that she is able to cope with the most difficult and hopeless business. In this situation, Borzova has no right to make the slightest mistake!

Vladimir Litvinov, who played General Grishin, is a famous theater and film actor. He with enviable constancy starred in domestic television series: “Prince of Siberia”, “Secret Guard” and others. He also played magnificently in the biographical story of the legendary hockey player Vyacheslav Fetisov.

Muscovite Ala was met in her new city quite coldly and even aggressively. The entire male team, headed by Maxim Reshetnikov, refused to obey the new leader. It was he who was the “ringleader” of Borzova’s disobedience, because he himself claimed this position.

The actor is known for his roles in Doctor Tyrsa, Flint, The Dark World, Smiley and others. And even if these are small roles, they were remembered by the audience.
Tosha Tumanov (actor Sergei Mukhin) is the calmest of the guys in the department. He is handsome, seems quiet and harmless. But the consequences of the shell-shock that he received during his service in Chechnya still persisted in him.
The actor became widely known after the release of the series “Doomed to become a star”, where he played the son of the port's chief. Then there were “Fern Flower” and “Price of Treason”, where he was invited to the main roles.
Filming
The series "Moscow Greyhound", whose actors coped with their roles just fine, initially decided to shoot only in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. The choice of these two cities fell not by chance. It is here, according to the script, the main character works. Moreover, in the second city, the film crew worked both on pavilion scenes and on-site filming. Director Roman Prosvirnin wanted the places shown in the tape to be easily recognizable.
In the extras of the twenty-episode film, many Nizhny Novgorod people were shot. They remembered for a long time the warm atmosphere that reigned on the site.
In one of the series, the local group Chkalov even performed as musicians playing at a wedding. Later, the group leader recalled that about four dozen takes were made, until it turned out the way the musical director of the series saw this scene. The song was poppy, partly even a courtyard, but there were also notes of humor in it.
