Biography and creative activity of Irina Mazuruk

Irina Mazuruk is a Soviet screenwriter, according to critics, who has an extraordinary talent. Public recognition for the author was brought by such creations as “Village Detective”, “Engineer Pronchatov” and “Mr.-Twister”. But the fate of this woman was quite difficult and full of love disappointments.

Childhood and youth

Irina Mazuruk was born in 1936 in the family of a polar pilot - one of the “Stalinist falcons”. Ilya Mazuruk, being the owner of the Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of the Red Star for his achievements before the fatherland, subsequently rose to the rank of Major General of Aviation. His wife Victoria was unhappy with her husband's regular long business trips. And, despite the life full of prosperity, which Ilya Pavlovich provided them, Victoria divorced him and in 1945 remarried.

Together with her daughter, she moves to the writer Vadim Kozhevnikov - Irina's stepfather. After graduating from school in 1953, Ira enters VGIK at the faculty of scriptwriters. In subsequent years, the girl writes short stories and, using the patronage of her stepfather, a well-known writer by then, prints them in the most popular publications.

In early youth, Irina Mazuruk got married, but her marriage almost immediately broke up. After that, the girl gets acquainted with the married actor Oleg Efremov. Without waiting for the official divorce from Lilia Mikhailovna Tolmacheva, the legal wife of Efremov, the lovers celebrate a gorgeous wedding. Due to contraindications of doctors, Mazuruk refuses to have an abortion, and despite protests of her civil husband, in 1957 she gives birth to her daughter Anastasia. After frequent side novels, Oleg leaves the family. Irina herself was not distinguished by her faithfulness to her husband, but she was very hard at breaking up and even tried to end her life by opening her veins. Fortunately, she manages to save her. The next chosen one of Irina Mazuruk is the writer and scriptwriter Kim Bakshi. Their marriage also failed, as Ira started a new affair with a popular writer and correspondent of major Soviet newspapers - Vil Lipatov. This union lasted 10 years and came at the dawn of the creative activity of Mazuruk as a screenwriter.

At the age of 10, actress Irina Mazuruk played her only role in the movie "Boy from the Outskirts." Later, she began to write scripts for films. The greatest success was received by the work "Village Detective", a motion picture shot on the novel by Irina's wife Lipatov. This comedy tells the story of the investigation of the rural policeman Aniskin in the complicated case of the missing accordion.

last years of life

After parting with his last husband, Vil Lipatov, Mazuruk increasingly lives in a summer house in Peredelkino. In the 80s she was given a terrible diagnosis - cancer. As a result of a long but unsuccessful fight against the disease, in 1987 Irina Ilyinichna passed away at the age of 50.
