There are interesting horrors, and there are many of them. Many people like thrillers, but there is one problem, and it consists in finding a decent movie. Well, it’s worth briefly talking about the most exciting films of this genre.
Films that make you scared
This is the first category of thrillers. Perhaps the most “bloody” films are all parts of “Turning the Wrong Way”. There are six of them, the first was shot in 2003. At the heart of each story are mutant freaks. They are cruel, merciless and feed on people. The mutants themselves were formed due to repeated incest. And now they live in deserted outbacks, from time to time killing people who fall into their territory inadvertently. In each film, a group of young people accidentally gets to the mutants. The car broke down - stopped on the side of the road and caught sight of such a cannibal. We rested in the forest - doomed ourselves to death from the attack of the mutants living there. In general, these are quite interesting horrors. And scary. You do not have to wait for the ties for a long time - it begins almost from the first minutes of the film.
Another famous thriller is the 2005 “House of Wax” release with Paris Hilton and Jared Padalecki. From the middle of the film, the fun begins. And sometimes it’s very creepy. Why? Yes, because the action takes place in an abandoned town, which is not even on the map. And all the people who are there are made by a local madman of wax. In fact, they were once real, but just the local “creator” covered them with wax directly on top of the bodies. And in this town gets a company of young people. It is difficult to predict how the film ends. Its worth a look.
Suggestion Movies
Interesting horrors are not necessarily scary. Sometimes it becomes creepy from the very situation in the film, from the atmosphere that the movie conveys. Uninvited is a very good thriller. The denouement is simply impossible. The film, as they say, is one of those that you need to watch and listen to. And at the same time to think.
“A mistake of time” is a low-budget thriller with an original idea. No ghosts, zombies, vampires, werewolves, demons and other supernatural. But there were no such ideas before. In the center of the plot are two guys and a girl living in a small house. Opposite them lives a neighbor-scientist who suddenly disappears. The guys decide to visit the old man and go to his house, but instead of a man they find a huge camera machine, which ... takes off every tomorrow. And this find completely turns their lives. Rarely in our time, interesting horrors are filmed, but “Time Lapse” is an exception.
What else is worth seeing
Only a few thrillers that deserve attention were listed above. But there are other interesting horrors. The list is quite large. “Jacob’s Staircase”, for example, “Island of the Damned” with DiCaprio, “Black Swan” with Natalie Portman, “Antichrist”, “Sixth Sense”, “Clown”, “Deliver us from the evil one”. There are a lot of films. The main thing is to choose according to your interest. Many love interesting horrors.
The list of films, by the way, should be supplemented with very creepy films with a high rating. Not everyone will see them. From the category of what is called “not for the faint of heart”. These include the films The Martyrs, and The Human Centipede (two parts). These are really horrors. And they contain naturalistic scenes with violence in large numbers, so even if there is a desire to get acquainted with them, it’s worth reading a brief description or looking at the frames to decide whether to watch them or not.
