After 14 years, the long-awaited continuation of Spielberg's cult films Jurassic Park was released. The new picture became the fourth part of the famous dinosaur story. The actors of Jurassic World were selected with particular thoroughness, because the success of the film depended on them in many respects. As a result, both well-known, actively gaining popularity performers, and young beginner talents came together in one tape. The picture itself became the highest grossing one in 2015, and a sequel has already been planned, which, according to preliminary data, should be expected on screens in 2018.
Plot
The action takes place after 22 years after the events of the previous part. The founder of the dinosaur-populated park, John Hammond, left this world and transferred his legacy to Simon Masrani. He divided the island of Nublar into 2 regions, one of which remained the wild habitat of dangerous creatures, and the second turned into one of the best thematic attractions in the country. However, the insatiable public was bored with boring old-fashioned entertainment, so attendance is rapidly falling. In order to correct the situation, it was decided to artificially develop a new species of dinosaurs called Indominus Rex. The situation takes an unexpected and dangerous turn when the animal gets out of control. While the adult actors of Jurassic World are trying to curb the distraught monster, Zack and Gray Mitchells, who are nephews of Claire Park administrator, go there to visit their aunt, but accidentally fall into the northern part of the reserve, over which Indominus Rex, who had escaped to freedom, established his dominance.
Creators
Hundreds of people became members of the film crew and worked hard for many months to create the painting "Jurassic World". The actors and roles performed by them, of course, are of great importance for the success of any film, however, an exciting and high-quality script, as well as its excellent implementation, plays an important role. The plot was given into the hands of five authors at the same time. Among them are the non-removable duet in the person of Amanda Silver and Rick Juff, who worked together on the reboot of Planet of the Apes, as well as Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, for whom the film “Safety is not guaranteed. But the characters worked Michael Crichton, in fact, the author of the original work.
Chris Pratt
The main issue for the creators of the picture during the auditions was primarily the main actor. The Jurassic World attracted many famous personalities, for example, Josh Brolin and Henry Cavill, but the coveted role went to Chris Pratt, whose participation in any film currently speaks of the alleged success. After performing the key character in Guardians of the Galaxy, the actor not only found a new, slim body, dropping 18 kilograms, but also became one of the most sought-after in Hollywood. In the movie in question, he embodied the image of the dinosaur tamer Owen Grady. It is on his lot that the hunt for an escaped monster falls, and the rest of the actors of Jurassic World help him tirelessly in this.
First plan
It is difficult to imagine at least one film in which there would be no romantic line. Owen’s passion is precisely Aunt Claire, who works as an administrator in the park and also finds herself in the thick of the main events. Her role was played by Bryce Dallas Howard, which before that could be seen in the paintings “The Servant”, “The Mysterious Forest” and “Life is Beautiful”. Also, the youngest actors of Jurassic World become central characters. We are talking about novice performers Tae Simpkins and Nick J. Robinson, who played the Mitchell brothers. The first one in his 14 years has already starred in such famous films as “Road of Changes”, “Astral” and “Iron Man 3”. And the second before that was seen only in one full-length film “Kings of the Summer”, as well as in several series.
Supporting roles
In addition to them, many other characters dilute the atmosphere of the film "Jurassic World". The actors and the roles of the secondary characters performed by them are no less significant and vivid than those who are always in the foreground. The head of the military unit, Vick Hoskis, was embodied on the screen by Vincent D'On Forio, known for the films People in Black and The All-Metal Shell. The role of the new director of the park is played by the popular Indian-born actor Irfan Khan, who can be seen in the films “Life of Pi” and “Slumdog Millionaire”. One of Owen’s colleagues, named Barry, was played by Frenchman Omar Si, who is known throughout the world for his brilliant game in “1 + 1”, as well as in the 2015 film “Samba”. The role of another important employee of the park, Lauer Cruters, was brought to the film by Jake Johnson, known for the TV series “New Girl”. And the role of the popular actress Judy Greer here is very small: she played the mother of the boys and, accordingly, the sister of the main character. The actors of the film "Jurassic World", of course, filled the plot with fresh and bright colors, because they are in no way connected with the previous parts. However, in the original picture and in the new one, the same character appears, Dr. Henry Wu performed by B.D. Wong. Thus, he is called upon to maintain a connection between the past and the future of the entire saga.
