Kamil Gadzhiev is a Russian professional ex-fighter of ju-jitsu (gold medalist of the world championship in 2003), champion of the Moscow region in combat sambo (in 2006). He is currently the head of the promotion company Fight Nights. In parallel with this, he is engaged in coaching. The growth of Kamil Hajiyev is 179 centimeters, weight - 85 kilograms.
Athlete Biography
Born June 25, 1978 in Moscow (Russia). The Hajiyev family is Laks by nationality (one of the indigenous peoples of the North Caucasus, by religion - Sunnis). His father, Abdurashid Gadzhievich, is a scientist, doctor of historical sciences. Mother, Eleanor Shapievna, worked all her life in a local clinic as a general practitioner. Kamil Gadzhiev has a younger sister who was educated at a medical university with a degree in obstetrics and gynecology (now she works as a gynecologist).
Education
He studied at school №126 (Moscow). Teachers have always praised him for his diligence and literacy. The boy was very fond of humanitarian subjects such as Russian language and literature, world history, ethics and social studies.
After receiving secondary education, he went to study at the faculty of law at Samara State University, which he graduated in 2004. In 2012, he went to the 2nd higher education at the Russian State University of Physical Education and Sports. Currently, Kamil Gadzhiev is a researcher. He holds the position of head of the martial arts management department at MFPA.
Acquaintance with sports
At the age of twelve, he began to engage in martial arts. The guy did not miss training and studied such combat disciplines as sambo and karate. Gadzhiev’s first leader was N. Yelesin (Honored Trainer of Russia). Their collaboration began back in 1999. It was this coach who developed in him such qualities as the desire for a goal, the will to win and sports excitement. Elesin saw rich potential in a young guy, and he was not mistaken in this. Persistent grueling workouts have borne fruit.

For four years, Kamil Gadzhiev played in amateur sambo and jiu-jitsu leagues. He has developed excellent technique, stamina and double timing. Among the amateur soldiers, Camil simply had no equal.
In 2003, Hajiyev made his debut in a major international jiu-jitsu tournament, held in St. Petersburg. The debut turned out to be extremely successful: first place among all the professionals in the world. This triumph gave the athlete even more strength and motivation. Kamil Gadzhiev automatically became a national hero and received the title of Honored Master of Sports of international class.
Last triumph, coaching career
Three years later, Hajiyev again achieved success, however, in another combat discipline - sambo. In 2006, the major Moscow championship in this sport was held. Here Camil was the undisputed favorite in the tournament. And he confirmed his viability. Equals simply could not be found!
Previously acquired Jiu-Jitsu skills were only beneficial for the athlete. After this victory, Kamil Hajiyev decided to train young fighters and share his own experience with them. Soon he receives the highest coaching certification and begins to engage in teaching activities.
Promotion company
Along with coaching skills, Hajiyev is also an excellent organizer. In 2010, he founded a promotion company called Fight Nights. This involved such persons as Batu Khasikov (former world kickboxing champion), Sangaji Tarbaev (co-founder of the YBW-group organization) and Sergey Shanovich (art director of several television projects).
