Biography
Victor Ryzhakov was born on May 25, 1960. Khabarovsk became his city of childhood, where he was born. His childhood passed happy and carefree.
At school, the future famous actor and director studied well, and after graduation he entered the Far Eastern Institute of Arts. But the career of the director and actor was so interesting to the young man that soon after graduating from the institute, he also tried his hand at the Shchukin Moscow Theater School. After graduation, he submits documents to GITIS and easily passes the competition.

Victor Anatolyevich began his activities in the capital's theater of young spectators, where he got immediately after graduating from GITIS. He was lucky since G. Yanovsky and K. He worked in this theater for six fruitful years, since over the years he was able not only to raise the reputation of the theater, but also created a board of trustees for the Russian theater society. Educational activities
In 2001, Ryzhkov Victor Anatolyevich became not only a teacher in directing, he was awarded the title of professor in this field. In the same year, he begins his teaching career at the famous School-Studio named after Nemirovich-Danchenko, which operates under the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. Soon he begins his activities at the Moscow Art Theater named after Chekhov, as a director.
Since 2002, Viktor Ryzhakov has been a member of the founders of the Volodin Theater Festival. In addition, Viktor Anatolyevich became the permanent director of the Five Evenings festival. Most of the performances were staged by this talented director based on plays by I. Vyrypaev.
But in addition to such active directorial and theatrical work, Viktor Anatolyevich manages to study the New Drama laboratory, which allows him not only to realize himself, but also to find talents among young and still inexperienced directors. Foreign colleagues know him from the wonderful master classes that he holds. With his achievements on the topic "The Stanislavsky system and the modern theater" he visited America, Hungary, Germany and Poland. In addition, he gives his lectures and gives practical mastery lessons at Harvard University, as well as in various theatrical Russian institutes.
Recognition of the actor and director
Constantly Viktor Anatolyevich is engaged in research activities. So, for his work, he received many awards and prizes, including the national award "Golden Mask". His work in the field of art was highly appreciated, and on May 22, 2014 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
Today he is the winner of many prizes both in Russia and abroad. His productions receive only the highest awards, and in 2010 his performance received the main prize of the All-Hungarian festival in the prestigious nomination "Best Performance".
Viktor Ryzhakov successfully staged the shortest performance in the capital. So, it lasts only 26 minutes. In the theatrical play “The Gods Have Fallen, and There Is No More Salvation,” the director briefly, but very understandably, describes how relations between two women of different ages develop: a daughter and a mother. There are four dialogues in the play, which are not only interconnected, but also very similar. But each time the dialogue intensifies and complicates, showing the tragedy of the fate of these two women.
