Flyashen Tomato Description

Features

Tomato "Fleashen" - a variety bred by a German breeder. It is still little known in the Russian market. Those who tried to grow it on their site, appreciated the yield, excellent taste of the fruit.

The Flashen tomato variety is obtained by splitting the Corianne hybrid variety. Because of this, it is not entirely correct to isolate it in a separate variety, rather it is a group of varieties that resemble a bottle in shape.

Tomato "Flashen" has small fruits weighing from 30 to 70 grams of characteristic elongated finger-shaped, resembling a bottle.

Description

According to the description, the "Fleashen" tomato belongs to indeterminate varieties, up to 1.8 m high. During the development, the bush needs a garter. A few leaves form on it, and many fruits form on long hands.

The color of the tomatoes is bright red. They are very juicy, tasty, sweet, high in solids. There are few seeds in tomatoes of this variety.

The fruits are used fresh, ideal for canning, they can be dried.

Disease

The culture is resistant to late blight, but vertebral rot tolerates poorly. To prevent it from occurring, it is necessary to follow preventive procedures: timely water the bushes, make fertilizers containing calcium.

Growing

Cultivation of tomato "Flashen" occurs through seedlings. Before sowing, seeds are checked for defects to achieve full germination. To determine the quality of the seed, salted water is used, into which the seeds are immersed. All those that rise up are removed. The rest, which sank to the bottom, are used for sowing.

To do this, take a shallow container, which is filled with soil. Then, prepared seeds are sown in it, deepening them by 1-1.5 cm. After 5-10 days, seedlings will appear. As soon as the first real leaves unfold on them, they are dived into separate containers.

At the age of 60 days, seedlings are planted in a permanent place. Do not be afraid to deepen it to the first leaves. This helps to build up an extra root system.

During the development of the vegetative part, a bush is formed. This procedure involves the removal of all stepsons from the axils of the leaves. In the northern regions, in the central part of Russia, 2-3 sheets are left next to each brush when forming. As soon as the tomatoes are full, they begin to sing, the leaves are removed. In the southern regions, formation is carried out, leaving more leaves. This is necessary so that the fruits do not overheat and do not receive burns.

As you harvest, the lower brushes are completely removed.

Watering

Tomatoes love plentiful, infrequent watering. This is best done under the root with a drip irrigation tape. This method of fluid delivery allows the plant to receive the right amount of moisture and form a branched root system. If you water a little and only the upper layers, then only they are moistened, and the root system develops superficial.

With excess watering, the taste of tomatoes changes. The fruits begin to crack, fungal diseases appear. Uneven, insufficient moisture during drying of the soil leads to the formation of vertex rot.

If water gets on the trunk, leaves or fruits, the plant can become infected with fungal diseases.

Top dressing

To get a good harvest "Fleashen" it is necessary to feed it periodically so that they receive all the necessary trace elements.

The first top dressing is carried out ten days after the seedlings are planted in a permanent place and before flowering begins. At this point, it is necessary to introduce mineral fertilizer. After the formation of the first fruits, the bushes are fed with potash fertilizers. Special mineral additives for tomatoes are ideal for top dressing. They contain all the necessary nutrients needed by the plant at different stages of development.

Tomatoes are a self-pollinated species that produces large quantities of pollen. However, self-pollination is not always carried out so that the fruits are formed. To make all the flowers become ovary, it is recommended to shake the plant twice a day, gently holding it by the trunk.
