Anatoly Ter-Grigoryan - this is the true name of our hero, was born in 1937 (January 3) in the capital of Azerbaijan - the sunny city of Baku. In what family was the future director and actor brought up? His father was a professional pianist, taught music at a local school. And her mother, Arevik Eyramdzhan, whose last name was later taken by Anatoly, was the granddaughter of the Armenian writer Gazaros Aghayan.
In school years, our hero visited the sports section, was fond of exact sciences, participated in amateur competitions. Friends and relatives were sure that Tolik would choose a creative profession. But after receiving a certificate of maturity, the guy entered the Institute of Oil and Chemistry (Baku). In 1961 he was awarded a diploma. Anatoly Eiramjan even started working in his specialty. And over time, he realized that this was not his element.
Screenwriter
He went to Moscow. In the Russian capital, he easily entered the screenwriting department of the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors. His teacher and mentor was N. Olshansky. In 1972, our hero successfully completed courses. Immediately after that, he started writing scripts.
Anatoly Eiramjan began to conquer Soviet cinema in 1974. It was then that the first picture taken in his script came out on the screens. We are talking about the Armenian adventure comedy "Fellow Villagers". The director of the tape was Ruben Muradyan.
All-Union fame for Anatoly Eyramjan was brought by the lyrical comedy “The Most Charming and Attractive” (1985). Director G. Bezhanov approved the leading roles of eminent actors. Nadia Klyuyeva was played by Irina Muravyova. And the image of her school friend Susanna was tried on by the inimitable Tatyana Vasilyeva. In 1989, he began making films in his own scripts. His directorial debut was the satirical comedy “For Beautiful Ladies!”. Abdulov Alexander and A. Pankratov-Cherny successfully reincarnated as robbers. According to the plot, they burst into the apartment, where several young and pretty young ladies gathered at the table to discuss "women's joys."
In 1990, A. Eyramjan became one of the creators of a small film studio, which was called "Odeon". Together with a team of actors, he began voicing his new comedy - Womanizer. The work was completed in a short time. The director did not want to part with Lyubov Polishchuk, Vasilyeva Tatyana and Derzhavin Mikhail. Therefore, he invited them to star in the musical comedy "My Sailor." All three actors agreed. And the role of the mass-entertainer in this picture went to the unique Lyudmila Gurchenko.
Ours in Miami
In 1992, the film studio was renamed the "New Odeon". And Ayramjan became her artistic director. Soon, he found a new theme for his comedies - "ours in Miami." Filming really took place in this sunny American city. In the film "Primadonna Mary" (1998), actress Irina Rozanova reincarnated as Alla Pugacheva. In a short time another comedy was created (this time a crime), telling about the adventures of Russians in America. It is called "When all are mine."
Death
Since 2005, Anatoly Eyramjan stopped making films. He permanently resided in the USA. The famous director left this world on September 23, 2014. He was 77 years old. The cause of death is cardiac arrest.
