Varnishes with magnets: nail salon at home

You've probably heard about such a newfangled trend for nail design as varnishes with magnets. They appeared back in 2007, but the bulk of fashionistas became known only in 2011, and a real boom was made in the current, 2012 year. With the help of this varnish you can create beautiful intricate patterns on your own at home, without resorting to the help of the expensive services of the master. Most well-known companies offer their collections of magnetic varnish, in their arsenal are varnish magnets of different shades and shapes, with different patterns. These are either waves, or stars, or stripes. Depending on your wealth and preferences, you can buy a varnish magnet from Golden Rose, Dance Legend, Nogtika, Lancome, Chanel, Dona Mirelle, OPI, Dior, etc. in almost every fashion store. etc.

The secret of this varnish is in the composition, the innovation of which is particles of metal, or the so-called metal powder. In the manicure procedure, you need to use a magnet that collects these metal particles from the varnish into fancy patterns. It is impressive that the edges of the resulting drawings are blurred, and give the effect of 3D, that is, the manicure looks voluminous, which is almost impossible to do at home. By the way, you can often buy such varnishes with magnets for modeling in the kit. Most often, the magnet is located directly in the lid of the varnish bottle, which is quite convenient. But in the absence of a magnet in the kit, you can buy a magnet with a pattern that is closer to you, separately. They are available in the form of flat plates or convenient special installations that have a substrate for the finger

The modeling procedure, in which varnishes with magnets are used, is very simple. First of all, as in the case of performing a manicure in the traditional way, you need to prepare your hands accordingly - remove the cuticle, give the desired shape to the nails. We apply the basic foundation. Next comes the turn of magnetic varnish. It is applied evenly, in one to two layers, on each of ten nails. The layer must be massive. Next is the turn of the magnet. Without delay, until the varnish dries, you need to bring for about 15 seconds a magnet to each nail. The time for which you bring the magnet should depend on what effect you want to achieve: if you want to get a more blurry picture, five seconds is enough, and to get clearer boundaries you need to hold the magnets longer - up to fifteen seconds. You can also choose the direction of the pattern. It can be transverse or longitudinal, it all depends on which side you will hold the magnet. Note that the magnet should not touch the nail plates. In this way you can perform not only manicure, but also pedicure - after all, everything should be fine in a woman - from the tips of the nails on the graceful hands to the tips of the nails on the slender legs. Some manufacturers advise fixing the effect with the finishing touch - apply the fixative with the last layer, while others say that it’s not worth it, because it can lubricate the picture. It remains only in each specific case to experimentally search for your best option using such know-how as varnishes with magnets.

I would also like to advise the magnet to be stored separately from the varnish, so that it does not lose its properties. In the event that you soak the magnet with varnish, in no case should it be washed with liquid to remove the varnish with acetone.

Even if you do not apply the pattern with a magnet, and simply apply it to the nail plate as usual, the magnetic varnish looks quite attractive, alluringly shimmering in the light. In addition, in favor of choosing this varnish, in addition to its aesthetic and practical qualities, manufacturers make statements about the usefulness of the varnish - some of the components of which it consists have medicinal properties, so the varnish strengthens the nails.
