The debut of young Sasha Lenkov took place at the age of 7 years, when he, being a fragile boy, more like a girl, played the Snow Maiden at a school play. The first experience was successful and caused a storm of delight among young viewers.

The school where Lenkov studied was located near the Mossovet Theater. When there was a need for a young artist who was supposed to make a couple of remarks, they turned there. So at the age of ten, Sasha was lucky to play on the stage of this famous metropolitan tetra in the performances of “Third-year student” and “Theft”. In addition, he quickly became his own there, ran offstage, went into the dressing rooms to V. Maretskaya, L. Orlova, F. Ranevskaya and R. Plyatt.

Young Alexander really liked appearing on stage, and he even arranged a puppet theater in his yard, where he staged plays with friends.
