Darren Aronofsky always knew how to hook the viewer, hurt the living, you understand it instantly, you just need to study the criticism for the film "Black Swan" - the reviews are blatantly bright, but quite counter-narrative.

However, the viewer is intrigued, regardless of his social affiliation, level of education, gender and age. Aronofsky’s films are akin to a sunstroke: there’s a carousel in my head, there’s a haze before my eyes, there’s a catastrophic lack of air, but you fly and fly. Most likely, precisely for this he is disliked by snobs and film critics. But how else, because the creator manages to put on one bench while watching the "Black Swan" a collective farmer, a countryman and an esoteric, the first to see only lesbian shows and insane insanity in the picture, and the second will like the moral, style and structure of the film. At the same time, the film "Black Swan", reviews of which are categorical and contradictory, does not allow us to fully understand what exactly was on the mind of the director.
Black Swan - the brilliant Natalie Portman
The hype in the press and in the cinematic environment is caused by the participation in the film of the beautiful Natalie Portman, who played the role of a diligent and scrupulous promising ballerina who danced to frightening demonic visions in the mirrors. The psychological film “The Black Swan”, including Natalie Portman, or rather the story of her heroine, prompts thought, is it worth striving for complete perfection of losing touch with reality, damaged mind and life in general?
Watching a change in the state of the main character, you involuntarily begin to understand what the director unobtrusively hints at. Even without looking at the Black Swan picture, just flipping through the reviews, you begin to think about the fact that sometimes you don’t need to so eagerly strive to get to know your second, dark "I". What if you awaken something inside of yourself that it, breaking out, will destroy your life. Just as the awakened
Black Swan slowly pecked the meager brains of the main character Nina. Gradually, the girl was overcome by a
mania of persecution, hallucinations, a
split personality and unmotivated aggression. And it all started so harmlessly: the director of ballet reproached the main character for being constrained and not passionate enough as the Black Swan. The heroine Natalie, in an effort to be the best, despite her fear and dissatisfaction in her
personal life, is trying to become free and as a result slowly begins to "fly off the coils." Absolutely all the reviews written for the film "Black Swan" emphasize that the closer the premiere of the production, the stronger the obscurantism of the main character.
Chamber atmosphere of the film: peeping at the intimate life of heroes
The most stupid and absurd thing that can be done with this film is to accuse it of secondary or vulgarity. There are several piquant moments in the film, let’s not hide the drugs, the men, and the offers to “touch yourself,” but it’s hard to call immoral how this is shown to the viewer. The psychological thriller Black Swan is a film that is not strictly intended only for those who love ballet or Natalie Portman. It is addressed to those viewers who are indescribable delight when it is not clear - where is reality and where are hallucinations.
