To date, the most pressing problem in relation to large families is the financial situation. This fact was revealed as a result of a sociological survey, the results of which showed that 79 percent of the families surveyed needed material assistance, 13 percent decided to refrain from answering, and only seven percent declared their stable financial condition. What family is considered to be large?
Before considering benefits for large families, it is nevertheless advisable to determine which families are officially considered to be large. Thus, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 431 “On measures of social support for large families”, the interpretation of a large family is not established by federal legislative acts. As a rule, this issue is decided by executive bodies in relation to the levels of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
A large family on a large scale in terms of regions can be defined as a family with three or more children under the age of eighteen. At the same time, adopted children, stepdaughters and stepsons are required to be considered.
Benefits for large families

It should be noted that benefits for large families also contain compensation for growth in relation to the cost of consumer products, equal to 675 rubles per month. By the way, this money is provided by the state for each child up to 3 years of age. Moreover, large families are entitled to compensation for the growth in the cost of living in general. Its size is 600 rubles per child per month in relation to families where there are three or four children. If there are more of them, then the corresponding compensation increases to 750 rubles. The important thing is that only children under sixteen years of age are taken into account, but in the case of full-time education, they can reach the age of majority.
Other required payments
In addition to the items listed above, the state pays a allowance of up to 3 years to large families in the amount of 2500 rubles for each child. For children of other ages, an amount of 1,500 rubles is provided, but only if the total income item of the family does not exceed the cost of living per person.
In addition, the state pays 230 rubles for the use of telephone services in favor of large families. 5,000 rubles is allocated annually to them for expenses directly related to the beginning of the school year, because every child needs to buy autumn clothes, shoes, school supplies and so on. It is important to note that when living with five or more minor children in the family, the state relies on monthly compensation for the purchase of children's goods in the amount of 900 rubles. By the way, this also applies to families with at least ten children, provided that at least one of them is a minor.
What else?
In addition to the payments listed in previous chapters, the state sends child allowance to large families in which ten or more children are raised. So, for every child under the age of sixteen children, there is another 750 rubles a month. It is important to note that in the case of training a child in full-time form, the age increases to 23 years. In addition, benefits for large families include the provision of free public transport to all children and one parent. Which families in Russia belong to the poor?
On the territory of the Russian Federation, a poor family is considered to be a family whose total profit, divided into all its members, is equal to an amount less than the subsistence level. - Single parent families.
- Large families in which three or more children are raised.
- Full families whose income level is extremely low.

What payments are due to the poor?
Periodically, the state pays a benefit to poor large families for the purchase of dairy products for children in the amount of 775 rubles per month. In addition, the state takes care of the nutrition of pregnant women from low-income families, as well as nursing mothers and children up to the age of three. So, 454 rubles are sent every month from the state fund to women who are registered in medical institutions because of pregnancy. Payments in the amount of 508 rubles are provided for nursing mothers, and children under one year of age receive 231 rubles. Children from one year to two years are sent 184 rubles, and from two to three years - 238.
