Plot
The film "King Arthur" tells the story of the last years of the reign of the Romans in Britain. The basis for the film was taken from a cycle about Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The central character is a real person. Arthur is the commander of the Sarmatian horsemen, who must serve Rome for 15 years before they get freedom.
For many years, the Knights of the Round Table led by Arthur fought with the Picts for Britain. Over the years of service, they have turned from barbarians into the elite of the Roman army, who are able to win not by number, but by skill, which they have distinguished more than once after going through hundreds of battles.
On the day when the soldiers were supposed to be free, they were given the final task - to travel far north in order to save the Roman family from the Saxon army, which had just landed in Britain. Rome cannot keep such distant borders and therefore the fate of the Misty Albion is no longer in their hands.
Arthur, along with the knights, goes on a long journey, behind the Wall, where he finds a noble Roman family and Picts captives. One of the captives is the daughter of the British leader Merlin - Guinevere.
Retreating to the Wall in battle, Arthur and the Knights lose one of their warriors. The day after gaining freedom, the main characters see how the Saxon army camps near Val Hadrian. The Sarmatians understand that this is not their war, but Arthur, being both a Roman and a Pict, decides to stay in order to defend his homeland.
Arthur joins the British army under the command of Merlin and his daughter. The battle at Baden Hill is about to begin, which is destined to decide the fate of Britain. At the last moment, the Sarmatians join the army of the Picts. This is the plot of the movie "King Arthur".
