State policy covers fundamentally the main directions in the development of society. At the same time, specific tasks facing various branches of public life are being addressed. In this regard, there is a defense and environmental, internal and external, cultural and national, economic and social policies of the state. The sphere associated with the issues of the political system is also singled out. Specialists often also use fractional division, especially considering the technical, agricultural, demographic and other political sectors.

Due to the fact that all aspects and areas of society are closely interconnected, the above areas also interact. This frequent interpenetration and interweaving causes a rather conditional distinction.

However, there is a sphere that is closest to the totality of human interests and needs. This area is addressed to the social life of the population - the social policy of the state.
