The film "The Nymphomaniac" (part 1, 2014), whose actors received rave reviews from viewers and critics, is the latest work by Danish director Lars von Trier. The picture was released in two parts. At the same time, the director's version remained, which, for example, was shown at the Berlin Festival. Many experts called the tape a masterpiece, especially highlighting the actors' play.
The plot of the first part
At the very beginning of the film "Nymphomaniac" (part 1, 2014), actor Stellan Skarsgård in the image of an elderly intellectual Seligman meets a badly beaten woman in a dark alley. He brings her to his home, it turns out that the victim's name is Joe. She begins to tell him in full detail the story of her life, starting from infancy and ending with 50 years. An educated Seligman immediately begins to draw parallels between art and facts from Joe's biography.
Part 1 of the movie "Nymphomaniac" (2014), the actors in which deserved all praise, is divided into five chapters. First, Joe tells how she discovered her vagina when she was two years old. She was very attached to her father, who worked as a doctor, but her mother was far from her family and cold. Therefore, the first years of her life, Joe spent with her father, an avid tree lover. He instilled this passion into his daughter.
The protagonist loses her virginity at age 15 with her neighbor Jerome, and a few years later she arranges a sex trip on the train with her friend. They compete who will seduce men more.
In the second chapter, Joe admits that there was only love in her life. This is her very neighbor, to whom she now gets a job at the printing house. But the girl does not have time to admit her feelings, Jerome leaves for a trip around the world.
In the third chapter of the 1st part of the movie "Nymphomaniac" (2014), the actors especially amaze the audience with their play. Uma Thurman stands out, appearing in the sad and at the same time absurd image of a deceived wife. The fourth chapter is devoted to the memories of his father, and in the fifth Joe meets Jerome again. Having sex with him, she realizes that she has lost all sensitivity. Charlotte Gainsbourg
The main role is played by the beloved actress Lars von Trier - Charlotte Gainsbourg, who has English and French citizenship.
She was born in London, and received education in Switzerland. Her career as an actress began with Eli Shuraki’s melodrama Words and Music, in which she played the daughter of Catherine Deneuve. At the same time, many are injured by excessive shocking and provocation, which can be seen in Nymphomaniac. Even the poster depicts the faces of actors experiencing an orgasm.
