Law enforcement authorities managed to identify the person who organized them on November 13, 2015. This is a certain Abaaud Abdelhamid. He was not only involved in the explosions that thundered in the vicinity of the sports complex "Stade de France", but also wanted to destroy innocent residents in a church located in the town of Villejuif. In addition, the terrorist planned the killing of passengers on the train from Amserdam to Paris.
The radicals then failed to realize their criminal intent, although three people were injured. One way or another, but the police managed to gather evidence that Abaaud Abdelhamid participated in the preparation of four of the six terrorist attacks planned.
The Blacksmith of Jihad
He was Belgian of Moroccan descent. Once, Abaaud Abdelhamid told the Western media: “For many years I watched the representatives of Islam being killed. Abaad Abdelhamid studied at a prestigious school, and he penetrated radical ideas in his teens. But then he embarked on the criminal path, starting to hunt robberies. For this, the radical went to jail. Growing up, he went with his brother to Syria, to fight with the "infidels."
Malenbek - the haven of terrorists
Only after some time, law enforcement authorities were able to establish that in one of the blocks of the Belgian capital, radicals, led by Abdelhamid Abaaud, found refuge. A photo of the organizer of the terrorist attacks was subsequently published in Brussels newspapers. The specialist of the center for world threat issues in the person of radicalism, Lisbeth van der Heide, told reporters in the Western media that it was in Malenbek that the bulk of foreign radicals pursuing terrorist acts in Europe were located.
Liquidation
In November 2015, law enforcement agencies began the planned operation to seize a terrorist from Malenbek. The security forces began to storm the apartment, located in French Saint-Denis, where Abaad Abdelhamid allegedly took refuge with his accomplices.
The terrorists resisted the security forces. The shootout lasted several minutes. Ultimately, it turned out that Abdelhamid Abaaud was killed. In addition to him, there was a cousin of the radical in the apartment, who committed suicide through the belt of a martyr. As it turned out later, the assault on an apartment in San Denis prevented an impending terrorist attack that could potentially have occurred at an airport or residential quarter in Paris called La Defense. The head of the French government, Manuel Waltz, received with undisguised satisfaction the news of the successful outcome of the operation in Saint-Denis.
