When at the beginning of August 1953 in the American town of Augusta a small blond-haired boy was born, no one could have imagined that he would become the world famous Hulk Hogan. Although already at birth, he managed to greatly surprise the clinic staff, having been born with a weight of 10 pounds, significantly bypassing all infants in the hospital.
School and university years
In school, little Terry Bolea was the tallest boy in school, then became the tallest student in college. While studying at college, he was seriously interested in basketball, many predicted a great career for him in this sport, but, having sharply changed his interests, he went to study at the University of Florida, where he studied business and economic sciences. After receiving his education, Terry joined the local bank. There he was engaged in administration. Hulk Hogan, whose filmography will eclipse many famous actors in the future, is not very perceived by us as a bank employee, and office desks were obviously not enough for him.
Hobbies of young Terry
In the evenings, the young specialist liked to sit in the company of friends, sorting out guitar strings. Playing the guitar interested the young man at the university, he even played in an amateur group. Having enjoyed the music, the future star was heading for another job. The fact is that in order to provide for himself, he had to earn extra money as a security guard in a local eatery.
Oddly enough, it was this work that became Terry Bolea's first step to world fame. Since Terry regularly visited the gym, his impressive muscles combined with two-meter growth could not help but attract the attention of Jack Briscoe. On the advice of the latter, Terry turned to the school of the then famous coach Hiro Matsuda.
Looking at Terry, Matsuda immediately promised to make him a real wrestling star. The promise was quickly brought to life, so Terry became Super Destroyer. A career developed, the Destroyer was a success, but it all unexpectedly ended during the next training session, when the mentor broke Terry's knee. At that time, no one could have guessed that the Hulk Hogan, whose filmography would consist of several dozen films, could become not only a wrestling star, but also a world-class movie star.
Turning into big sport
Unable to play sports, Terry again returned to music, becoming the organizer of The Ruckus. However, a couple of years later, following the advice of his namesake Terry Funk, the Super Destroyer returns to wrestling. As subsequent events have shown, it is not in vain. In the summer of 1978, it was thanks to him that the Southeastern Championship Wrestling team, for which he played, defeated the local legendary club.

It was then that he received the nickname The Wrestling Hulk. Already in September, Terry organized a meeting with another wrestling legend - Andre Gigant, where the latter was completely defeated. These were Terry's first steps to world fame. The future Hulk Hogan, whose photo first appeared in the press, was walking towards her with leaps and bounds. After this fight, Terry’s sports career began to develop rapidly, and already in early 1979 he received the title of heavyweight champion SCW. Then a whole series of victories and defeats followed, replacing each other. At this time, the pseudonym Terry changed again. He first became Hogan Irish, but quickly changed his pseudonym to Blonde Hulk. Such a quick change of name was directly related to the fact that Terry's hair did not tolerate dyeing, and, accordingly, he did not succeed in becoming red-haired, as the pseudonym Irishman demanded.
The first steps to world cinema glory
Having become famous in the arena, the Hulk received an unexpected offer from Sylvester Stallone himself. From here originates the filmography of Hulk Hogan. The proposal concerned filming. It should be noted that the coach reacted very negatively to this turn of events and even fired the Hulk. After that, without thinking twice, he packs his bags and moves to the legendary Hollywood.
The filmography of Hulk Hogan began precisely with the famous "Rocky". The first role was pretty easy for the actor, since he played himself - the wrestler who defeated Rocky Balboa. Then followed the shooting of the next two parts, which made Hulk Hogan a star.
Successful combination of sports and cinema
In parallel with the filming of the Hulk Hogan, whose biography is saturated with sharp life turns, he returned to the sport. He even became the author of the famous hit, named after him Hulk'up.
Participation in the tournament IWGP (International Grand Prix Wrestling) brought him incredible popularity. Hulk Hogan, who won by knockout, whose photo adorned the covers of all magazines, became a world star in both cinema and wrestling.
Hollywood star
The filmography of Hulk Hogan has more than fifty films. It is unrealistic to describe them all in a small article. Moreover, a distinctive feature of the actor was its diversity. He looks equally good as starring superheroes, for example, in a series of WWE films, including "Powerful American Strike" or "The Royal Chronicle", which, in fact, is Terry's autobiography.
The filmography of Hulk Hogan is replete with comedy tapes: “Mr. Nanny”, “The Adventures of Little Hercules”, “Robotsyp - Star Wars”. Well and of course, numerous roles, where the athlete and actor depicts superheroes of all stripes.
At the same time, the Hulk Hogan, whose filmography is so diverse, continues his sports career. Numerous unusually high-profile victories and defeats are rapidly replacing each other. It is becoming more and more popular every year.
There comes a time when the Hulk Hogan, whose biography is already quite eventful, decides to try himself in a new role. He becomes a producer. And again he succeeds ...
