Lyudmila Alekseevna lived in the Far East before her studies, but her ancestors came from Belarus, from the Gomel region. Alexander Efremovich was born in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and his great-grandfather came there from Ukraine in the century before last, as a migrant.
