Small stripes of pale pink color that appear on the skin and differ in structure from neighboring skin areas, thin, almost imperceptible scars or an impressive size of burgundy-cyanotic scars - all this is a consequence of the so-called skin stretch marks.
The appearance of stretch marks or stretch marks can be very different, however, whatever they are - not one of them paints a woman.
If you find stretch marks on your body, do not despair. This kind of phenomenon is very common and is the result of excessive overstretching of the skin, impaired production of elastin and collagen fibers, responsible for elasticity and strength.
The most likely and common causes of stretch marks on the body are:
- pregnancy;
- obesity: an intense and rapid jump in body weight, during which the skin simply does not have time to stretch;
- puberty, in other words, puberty;
- hereditary factor;
- long-term use of hormonal drugs;
- sharp and rapid weight loss.
Striae can “take a fancy” not only to problem areas - the abdomen and sides, but also appear on the chest, inner and outer thighs. The fact that over time they will become less cumbersome is not very comforting.
Treatment for stretch marks is not an easy task, requiring endurance and patience. In order to even out the skin structure, it is necessary to remove the layers affected by stretch marks. Sometimes even to the so-called "bloody dew." Then wait until the open wound is epithelized and new skin appears on its surface. Treatment of stretch marks at home allows you to remove or mask only "young" stretch marks - purple or pink. - after taking a shower or bath, apply moisturizing cosmetics to clean skin, all kinds of creams, lotions and milk will do;
- Allocate time for a daily massage with olive oil, in which a couple of drops of vitamin E are added. This procedure increases the elasticity of the skin;
- eat foods rich in vitamins E and C, silicon and zinc.
Following simple tips, you don’t have to spend your nerves and strength on treating stretch marks, for the only reason - their absence.
