Origin
Godovikov Nikolay Lvovich was born on January 1, 1950 in the city of Leningrad (modern St. Petersburg). His father, Lev Ivanovich Godovikov, was an electrician, and his mother, Margarita Dmitrievna Godovikova, worked in one of the many St. Petersburg factories, and in a very good position. In addition to their son, they also had a daughter, Tatyana, the younger sister of Nikolai. Despite the fact that Nikolai Godovikov grew up in a complete family, his life was by no means a sweet childhood paradise.
From a very young age, he spent almost all his free time on the street, where, of course, he got into bad company. He started smoking very early. Having become a little older, he reached out for alcoholic beverages. Due to the large employment of parents at work, almost no one looked at him, and he received education, we can say, street, yard. It was hard to say whether this was the reason for his sad adventures in his later years.
After school, Nikolai, at the insistence of his mother, went to study at the Physics and Mathematics College. By the time of the first filming, he was already specially registered with the police for his behavior.
First fame
The future actor Nikolai Godovikov, whose biography abounds with fateful coincidence of circumstances, received his first role literally by accident. But everything could have happened in a completely different way, and we would never have seen his talent. He decided to try out with his friends. On the way, they all went into the store, and on the counter were lottery tickets. Unfortunately, the saleswoman was not there, and Nikolai decided to steal one of them. Of course, the guys caught in the act. But by chance, he managed to persuade his precinct to let him go to the movie studio. Apparently, a talent for persuasion showed up even then. And he got a small episodic role in the film directed by Gregory Poloka under the name "Republic of SKID", which was shot in 1966. There was even an opportunity to get the main role in the film, but it did not work out.

After being released from his first imprisonment, he literally six months later went back to prison for 4 years. Nikolai Godovikov with accomplices participated in the thefts from wealthy apartments in Leningrad and Moscow. For this, investigators even called him "a noble thief."
In prison, he never boasted of his acting starry past - nobody in the zone is interested in this. But regularly performed in a prison club. People liked it, and they enjoyed watching his game.
Career

For three years he played in the theater "Na Sofiyskaya", where the director was his former colleague on the set of "Republic of SKID", Vladimir Kolesnikov. Subsequently, I had to leave when the new director of the theater came.

Now, after all the hardships and troubles of life, Nikolai lives in St. Petersburg with his third wife, Lyudmila, with whom fate brought him completely by accident. He looked for the phone of his old friends, made a mistake with the number and got to Lyudmila. And so their romance began. Nikolai Lvovich says that he lives well and calmly with Lyudmila, and he has long dreamed of such a woman in his life.
