Very interesting, and most importantly, productive is fishing on the nipple. This method, although considered passive in contrast to fishing with other gear, however, in certain situations, it shows quite impressive results.
The main advantage that nipple fishing has is that there is no need to track the bite, as the signaling device works only when the hook is already in the mouth of the fish. In this case, self-pricking inevitably occurs. In this way, you can catch not only carp or crucian carp, but also common carp with rudd, roach and even grass carp.
Nipple fishing is quite popular today. Fishing using this type of gear sometimes brings a pretty good catch. Very often large individuals come across a float rod with an “elastic band”.

For this kind of fishing, not too long rods with access rings are quite suitable. Neither the length, nor the weight, nor the material of the rings, nor even the pitch, have any meaning, since fishing on the pacifier does not involve frequent casting. Fundamental parameters are strength with compactness.
The bait is also important, the smell of which the fish should feel from afar. In this case, the feed should be tight and viscous in order to remain in the feeder for a sufficient time, optimally - up to ten hours. Cautious fish, such as crucian carp or carp, come to the feeder for a long time, and if the bait is washed out, there will certainly not be any bites. Best for this are bread or potato dough, oatmeal, millet porridge, mamalyga, etc.
