The three-eyed raven is one of the most mysterious characters in the series Game of Thrones. No one knows where he came from, his real essence. But on the screen, the audience saw him. All relevant information about the hero is present in the article.
First seasons
The three-eyed raven first began to appear in Brandon Stark 's dreams after he fell from the tower and lost the ability to walk. There, he sits in the form of a bird on his shoulder, in order to prevent a shot from archery, and later leads to the crypt of the castle in search of his father. There the guy was taken by the captive wild Osh, who was assigned to take care of him. Upon arrival, Bran sees Rickon's younger brother. Similar dreams also excited him, and therefore he came here to calm down. Throughout the second season, the young Lord Stark tried to decipher the vision, but failed to do so. The next appearance was after many episodes and again in a dream. There, a little boy told Bran that it was impossible to shoot an animal that embodied the Three-Eyed Raven, because he himself was the same bird.
Summon and start the quest
The attack on Winterfell's ancestral castle forced Bran to seek cover behind the Wall, where John Snow went . There he touched the chardrev and saw all kinds of visions. Among them was a three-eyed raven in a crypt under the castle, and a request was made that the guy could find him in the far north in a cave under a tree. A long search led the young lord's group to the right place, but it was at that moment that the whirlwinds attacked them. A creature named Leaflet saves Bran, who cannot walk, and brings him into the cave. This place is surrounded by special magic, and there for the first time the real appearance of the Three-eyed raven was shown. Struan Roger was first elected an actor for the character, but in the sixth season, where the hero appeared most often, he was replaced by Max von Syudov. At the first meeting, an old man, entangled in the roots in this cave, said that he had many names with appearances, but now he is exactly as Bran saw him.
Start date
Bran and the Three-eyed Raven almost immediately after the meeting began training. A brief dialogue with the acquaintance was not at all what the children thought. The old man said that he watched them constantly in their path, because he has a thousand and one more eyes. Mira told about the death of brother Joyen, to which the raven replied that he knew about it. He specifically went for it so that Bran could get here, because his role in future events is much more significant. When asked whether the young Stark could walk, the old man replied that this would never happen, but instead the ability to fly would come. In the first lessons, the Three-Eyed Raven shows the ability to see past events. The hero moves to where his father Eddard is still very young. A man with experience controls the student and makes him return at the right time, but Bran wants to stay there longer.
Fatal events
In the sixth season of Game of Thrones, Bran Stark and the Three-eyed Raven continue to study the past. Together they saw the battle of Eddard near the Tower of Joy and attempts to save Lianna. When it was time to return, the mentor did not allow him to watch the scene until the end. The son called out to his father, he turned around, but did not see anything. Raven denies the possibility that Eddard could hear Bran through space. He says that he is fulfilling his mission of educating the new generation in the proper manner. Due to the constant desire to look into the past, the guy decides to apply green vision on his own and gets into the area where the army of Viths is present. There, the King of the Night, who now knows about the location of the cave, could touch him. The three-eyed raven quickly appreciated the situation and ordered Brandon to escape, because it was he who should take the place of the old man, despite his little preparation. Soon, the revived dead get to this place, quickly cracking down on the children of the forest, and the King of the Night kills the raven.
