Start of development
Let's now plunge a little into the history of the creation of one of the best jewelry factories in the Russian Federation.
It all started on April 6, 1993. Then in the capital began the creation of a jewelry enterprise full production cycle. Why is Adamas? The translation of the word from Greek is “indestructible”, “solid”.
On May 15 of the same year, the installation of the first of the workshops, the chain-knitting, began. I must say that the most advanced Italian equipment was specially prepared and installed for him with the direct support of specialists from this country.
On August 12, 1993, the first gold chain was launched under the new Russian jewelry brand. It was a product of the 585th test with a single weaving of gold wire with a diameter of 0.35 mm. The chain was decorated with two diamond faces.
On September 2 of the same year, the first retail outlet for the sale of Adamas jewelry was opened. This happened in the legendary GUM in the main square of the country.
In May 1994, the first Adamas store was opened in the resort city of Sochi. And from that moment, the formation of the federal retail network of the company begins. Now it includes about two and a half hundred stores.
Further development of production
In 1997, the plant continued to expand. A new production line for the manufacture of jewelry using the micro-casting technique was built. In fact, this was the launch of another full-cycle production plant.
The first products were laconic gold jewelry "Zodiac Signs" that do not have gemstone inserts. And, for example, today "Adamas" presents more than 600 articles of jewelry only, having diamond inserts, inclusions from natural stones - precious and semiprecious.
