The brutal thriller horror "I Spit on Your Graves 3" was reviewed by critics as an unexpectedly successful sequel to the acclaimed "torture" dilogy, somewhat surpassing previous pictures.
Director change
In the third part, which was released on October 1, 2015, the beloved viewer of the thrash-maker, director Stephen R. Monroe, is replaced by R. D. Braunstein, who decides to break down the stereotypes that have developed around the franchise. Director R. D. Braunstein is known to a narrow circle of viewers for working in the frankly meager “100 degrees below zero” (disaster film), which he shot under the auspices of the Asylum film studio. The film, according to leading film critics, was not very successful, so the group of producers of the film "I Spit on Your Graves 3" took their feedback into account, but hoped for the law "you can’t believe stereotypes" and made it possible for R. D. Braunstein to make excuses in the eyes of the viewer. The producers did not fail, the third part surpasses the previous two in many respects. The Monroe Dilogy was continuous straightforwardness, with unfinished and unrealized inclinations. Braunstein’s work has a tense and more ramified plot, a more subtle system of vivid characters, entertaining individual episodes and a lot of ultra-violence. Not without reason, reviews of the film “I Spit on Your Graves 3” are full of masacra characteristics, noting the presence of a small proportion of CGI inherent in Braunstein's style. Indeed, the scenes related to the guro meta-genre are staged with special originality and sophistication, without restrictions.

Plot
The third part originates where the first picture ends. "I spit on your graves 3" the plot has a simple and predictable. According to the story, avoiding punishment for the punishment of rapists, the main character Jennifer (Sarah Butler) is trying to return to normal. He changes his name, gets a job and begins to attend group therapy for victims of sexual violence. There, the heroine draws closer to a real tear, rocker girl Marla (Jennifer Landon). Marla insists that the perpetrators should be punished, causing them no less pain. Reviews about the film “I Spit on Your Graves 3” emphasize that at this moment any intrigue of the picture is lost, even the average viewer will have no difficulty guessing about the further development of the plot. Indeed, even though Jennifer does not want to turn to violence again, the emergence of new circumstances forces the girl to again feel a craving for him.
Casting cast
The film “I Spit on Your Graves 3” (actors: S. Butler, D. Landon, D. McKien, G. Hogan, M. Hurd) compares favorably with well-written characters, which is not typical of modern horror films. Fans of the original film cannot but rejoice at the return to the role of Jennifer Hills of the military beauty Sarah Butler. Her lightness and speed with which the heroine reincarnates from a decent girl into an insidious and merciless hunter for rapists, amazes the viewer. Marla, the broken rocker girl was played by Jennifer Landon - as they say, with a bang. Their interaction is a stunning explosive mixture, a real bomb. Of the performers of the supporting roles, Joshua Kowalczyk, who played the role of a detective, stands out. The remaining actors played less vividly, but in good faith, not remaining mediocre scenery in the horror.
Breaking the rules of the game
The film "I Spit on Your Graves 3" has earned a variety of reviews. Some cinema censors called the movie “torture porn,” shot using a simple formula. The basis of such films is the division of the plot into two parts - at the beginning, sadists sexually abuse the victim girl, who is not without attractiveness, after the heroine takes revenge on offenders, usually quite tough. Indeed, in this picture, the presented scheme can be traced, perhaps the creators: producers, director, screenwriter "I Spit on Your Graves 3" - show the public that they do not praise revenge and violence, but only warn against it, strongly condemning it. The two previous franchise films neatly and precisely, literally blindly followed this formula (like the cult film of the same name in 1980), but the creators of the third part change the rules of the game. For the previous films, the traditional mockery of the main character, they left behind the scenes. In the first part of the tape, they presented the viewer with several victims of sexual violence (group therapy), and in the second part, Jennifer, by the will of fate, appears as an angel of retribution, equipped with various piercing and cutting equipment.

Dualism paintings
From an artistic point of view, the third film is the most solid and strong of the entire cycle. The point is not at all the technical side of the picture, professional and naturalistic, but rather the confidence with which the creators built the drama. Analyzing the plot structure of the picture “I Spit on Your Graves 3”, the reviews of moviegoers indicate that the creators give a lot of arguments for the fact that you can never and humbly turn the second cheek. However, this also emphasizes the fact that violence is similar to drug dependence, penetrating a person, it burns out the soul, destroys the personality. Nevertheless, the screenwriter Daniel Gilboy again tries to convey to the viewer the old film truth, which states that goodness must also be with its fists.
In fairness, it should be noted that such an author’s message is not implemented in the film any deeper than in the same “Thirst for Death”, and is not a revelation in the modern film industry as a whole. Given the wonderful acting work of Jennifer Landon, Sarah Butler, Joshua Kowalczyk and Doug McKeon, who embodied on the screen the father of a young girl who committed suicide after the attack, the film can claim to be one of the best horror of its orientation.
Feminism Accusations
A sufficiently large number of reviews from the audience reproach the picture in the presence of pronounced ideas of feminism. Users who wrote reviews in this vein declare that now all feminists in the world can sleep peacefully, watching blissful dreams of imminent reprisals against men. They call the new third part useless, meaningless and unjustifiably cruel. The story is called a story about the gradual madness of the main character, blaming the plot for the lack of semantic load. Defining the film as a demonstration of bloody lynching over rapists, categorically-minded viewers suggest changing the project’s slogan to a more sonorous one: “Violence breeds violence”. Proponents of such an assessment of the director R.D. Braunshtein’s activities claim that he literally cuts off an impressive portion of a healthy audience from the very first minutes of timekeeping. They explain that the further development of the storyline will be interesting only to real feminists, they will not mind watching the sadistic bullying of women against representatives of a strong half of humanity.

Original move
In addition to the author’s tricks in the film “I Spit on Your Graves 3”, the audience’s reviews note the high-quality musical accompaniment. All musical compositions sounding in the film were created by the Austrian composer Wendler Edwin. Moreover, their spectrum varies from aggressive furious hard rock to melodic instrumental compositions. These musical inserts perfectly complement the key twists in the plot of the film, the change in the atmosphere of the narration and the visual part from the operator of the picture Richard J. Vialet. The operator thoughtful game of plans managed to keep the viewer's attention around the main plot. This is a truly professional and innovative, innovative approach.
Total
The horror was by no means the worst in the franchise. Director R. D. Braunstein shot his project in accordance with the fundamental tenets of revenge movie (films about revenge), so the viewer will not be bored while watching. Of course, all kinds of sloppiness is present in the tape (where without them), and the filling is very controversial, but the film will surely delight its viewers with a rethought and updated look at the franchise and the already rather hackneyed idea as a whole. And this is a definite plus. But taking into account the fact that all the reprisals are very cruel and rather non-trivial, it is possible to recommend Braunstein’s brainchild for viewing only to those who normally tolerate perverse on-screen cruelty, it’s easier to say “meat”.
