Alexander Negre creativity

In the mid-80s, the famous theater actor and director of plays decided to change the scope of activity. During this period, our hero had a desire to try himself as a writer. And this is not surprising, because Alexander already had experience writing scripts for theatrical productions and films.

In 1984, Negreba's works first began appearing in print. The newly-minted writer began to work closely with the editors of the popular Rodnik magazine. It was on its pages that the well-known essays of the artist appeared, entitled “The Return of the Theater” and “Definition”. Then, from the author’s pen came the stories “Colomba”, “You are in the province”, “Farewell of the Slav”.

Subsequently, Alexander Negreba was actively published in the literary publications Zodiac, Oracle Steps, and Twice Two. According to readers' polls, the author entered the top five of the best domestic science fiction writers as of the beginning of the 2000s.

The first work of Alexander in this field was the dramatic film "The Day Before", in which our hero played one of the secondary roles. It is worth noting that the debut tape of the novice director was perceived by critics very ambiguously. The film was a caustic parody of low-budget Soviet fighters and dipped the viewer into an atmosphere of absurdity. The main roles in the film, unusual in its content, were played by such artists as Galina Sazonova, Elena Poptseva and Tatyana Korenevskaya.

The film “The Day Before” did not go unnoticed. The director's debut film was awarded the prize of the International Film Festival "Interfest". Later, the picture fell into the rotation of the film festival "Second Premiere", where it received an award in the nomination "Favorite of the Year."
