Nina Kornienko

Childhood

Nina Kornienko was born in the small town of Solikamsk, in the Perm Territory, on January 11, 1943. Despite the fact that the girl’s childhood was in difficult years, she always dreamed of being an actress. Since childhood, Nina believed in her calling. The acting was in her blood, although none of her relatives had anything to do with the theater. After school, Nina Kornienko, whose biography from an early age was associated with acting, gets a job at the Perm Theater. Then there were no such strict requirements for actors and it was possible to get on stage without education. But Nina understood that she lacked skills and knowledge.

Education

After some time working in a provincial theater, Nina Kornienko became convinced of the correctness of the choice of her professional path. And she decided to go to Moscow, to enter the theater institute. She was able to enter one of the best schools in the country - at the Moscow Art Theater. Tatyana Itsykovich (Vasilieva), Alexei Levinsky (son of the director of the Art Theater), Anatoly Vasiliev, Galina Besedina, and the beautiful Ekaterina Gradova studied at her course. But Nina was not lost against their background, she managed to reveal her talent, and this helped her find her way.

Theater work

Back in the studio, Nina Kornienko was noticed by Valentin Pluchek. He brought her to his theater, to the famous Satire Theater, in which the actress still works to this day. The first role - Suzanne in “The Marriage of Figaro” - brought Nina instant and real glory. There were queues for performances with her participation, she became the star of the troupe, and she made friends easily with the collective. Although the troupe in Satire was more than stellar.

Among the outstanding performances in the theater with her participation are the productions of "Wake up and Sing", "Tartuffe", "Three-Penny Opera", "Running". Her fame increased television shooting performances. However, for the actress of such a talent, Kornienko nevertheless played quite a few roles, in total, she has a little more than 10 productions. True, some went for many years in a row, but still this did not allow Nina to fully reveal herself as an actress. People close to the theater say that Kornienko’s heightened sense of justice was the fault of such low employment. She constantly at meetings of the troupe stood up for someone, asked for others. And the directors circumvented her in the distribution of roles, but she does not know how to work for herself. When the age of maturity came, the roles became even less. But even today Kornienko plays in two performances: “The Mistress of the Hotel” and “Homo Erectus”. She is not offended by fate, although the main director of the theater A. Shirvindt admits that she feels guilty in front of the actress.

In total, the filmography of the actress has 20 films, which is negligible for the actress of such a talent.

In the theatrical environment they say that the reason for this was Nina's love for Andrei Mironov.
