In the days of the Soviet Union, when ideas about the honor and dignity of man were still popular, much attention was paid to the so-called upbringing of the younger generation with correct films. Evil forces always defeated good in them, decency and kindness, mutual understanding and mutual assistance triumphed. Especially popular in those distant years were tapes about law enforcement officers. One of them with the name of “Police Sergeant”, whose actors played another glorious story, will be discussed.
Story line
This wonderful film shows the usual everyday life of Soviet policemen who daily protect the peace and work of civilians. From distant Siberia to Leningrad for admission to the university comes an entrant Alexei Severtsev (actor Alexander Alexandrov). He becomes easy prey for criminals who managed to deceive him. Severtsev is lured into a deserted place, beaten and robbed.
Investigate the crime committed by a young police officer, who at the same time graduates from the law faculty of the university, Nikolai Zakharov (actor Alexey Minin). This is the plot of the history of the movie "Sergeant of Police". The actors involved in its creation lived the images of their heroes, breathing life into them.
The sergeant confronts a large gang of criminals led by a rather brutal and very cynical leader, nicknamed the Prince (played by one of the great actors of the twentieth century, Oleg Yankovsky).
Crime will be solved!
Very clearly shows the main and secondary characters of the film "Police Sergeant." The actors and the roles played by them still excite the minds and hearts of spectators of different ages.
With the help of a senior comrade and colleague, Major Grigoriev, whose image was embodied on the screen by the unforgettable Ivan Krasko, a young sergeant uncovers this malicious crime. He manages to practically neutralize a whole gang of seasoned criminals alone, while showing courage and resourcefulness.
In parallel with the intriguing detective line of the film, the actors of the film “Sergeant of Police” showed the audience two other ways of the film: social, that is, certain responsibility for the profession chosen by a person, a huge sense of duty and others, and also romantic when love comes to the main character. That's why even when you watch this tape is not the first time, there is no feeling of tiredness or boredom from another viewing.
From rustling pages to buzzing cameras
Beloved by millions of viewers, the film "Police Sergeant", the actors of which were carefully selected before the shooting, was shot on the novel by the famous writer Ivan Lazutin. This happened forty years ago. But despite the fact that all this was so long ago, the theme raised in the picture does not lose its relevance to this day.
This film was one of the last to be directed by Herbert Rappoport. The whole workflow was fine-tuned. Each actor was in his place. Here is the same criminal leader, Prince, a rare bastard. But how talented and charming he was played by Oleg Yankovsky! And no matter how strange, but by his charisma, the leader was able to surpass the main good character - Nikolai Zakharov.
The film "Police Sergeant", the actors and roles of which are still loved by millions of viewers, showed Yanovsky in his role real, alive. When you look at him, it seems that a chill runs inside, arising from the fact that his character is a servant of the cult of gold and silver. But Alexey Minin, who played the sergeant, is somewhat sketchy. Perhaps this was the director's idea.
Different impressions. Different opinions
The film "Police Sergeant", whose actors and characters they played until today are discussed by the audience, remains one of the best detectives filmed in the Soviet Union. Even if it was somewhat trivial, and Nikolai Zakharov turned out to be a little cliched. Most likely, this scriptwriter put the young, without much baggage, experience of the actor in a certain framework.
On the one hand, when you see a criminal, you understand that there cannot be anything pretty and attractive in him, but on the contrary, a feeling of disgust can arise. On the other hand, in this film, "dark forces" were shown to be more interesting than "forces of light." Unfortunately, some of the teenagers of that time, having seen enough of the pictures where the bandits were shown more interesting than the positive heroes, wanted to take an example from them in everything. The villains became their idols. True, guys with a strong inner core and the right moral attitudes evaluated all the stories consciously.
Well, one way or another, but this film adorned the treasury of Soviet cinema. The actors were so believed that after the release of the film on the screens, they attributed the features of their characters. And this is aerobatics of excellence.
