Last year Irina Pegova, filmography which has more than a dozen roles, for the first time in more than a decade of acting career came out with a short haircut. She told reporters that she really wanted some kind of change in herself. She was sure that, having radically changed her image, she would attract something new and good into her life. How right she was!
Oh childhood, wonderful time!
Vyksa city, Nizhny Novgorod region. On June 18, 1978, a daughter was born in the family of a metallurgical plant employee and a professional athlete, who was named Irochka. Parents did their best for their child to develop comprehensively. In childhood, Irina Pegova, whose filmography contains the most diverse paintings by genre, went to a music school, where she mastered the violin pretty well.
Mom and dad girls hoped that their beloved daughter would devote herself to sports, like her father. Indeed, little Ira has tried her hand at a wide variety of sports. She fenced, learned to ride a horse, went skiing and ice-skating, fought excellently with the water element.
Music or cinema?
One day, schoolgirl Irina Pegova, whose roles, which brought her incredible popularity and the tender love of viewers, were still ahead, falls into the contest "I Want to Become a Star". Her performance was so interesting and successful that she began to think that it would be nice to become a singer. To bring her idea to life, Ira even goes to a music studio. The team, consisting of several girls, remade the songs of the most popular artists of that time, known to most listeners. Some of the girls even tried to write songs themselves. The young artists had not only ordinary concerts, but even tours. They recorded in a professional studio.

1995 came. The future star of Russian cinema Irina Pegova, whose filmography contains detectives, comedies, and pictures of love, heard her farewell school bell. In just a couple of years, she already imagined herself on the big stage in a beautiful dress and with a microphone in her hand. And before my eyes - a hall full of admiring spectators. Her ideal was the "French Sparrow" - Edith Piaf. To continue to engage in vocals and work on her speech, she convinced her parents that she would only go to a theater university. To say that mom and dad were, to put it mildly, not enthusiastic about the daughter’s idea, was to say absolutely nothing. But the decision by their girl was made. True, Ira also made some concessions: she entered first at the Polytechnic Institute, and then at the theater school.
The studio theater of Peter Fomenko appeared on the threshold of her school at the time when Ira was a second-year student. There was a peculiar exchange of experience: students and artists showed each other their works. It was then that, having heard good words addressed to him from Fomenko himself, Irina only asserted herself that she should definitely go to GITIS.
Time passed, study ended. Many Ira’s fellow students, having received the coveted diploma in their hands, hastened to take exams at GITIS. Ira, of course, did not give up her dream and also went to the address of her hope. But only our heroine was accepted to the faculty of directing (training on the Fomenko course). Later in an interview, she recalled that she had been saving money for this trip for a very long time, so she worked in the evenings as a cleaner in her own school.
Theater and film debut and subsequent work
In the first year of the new millennium, Irina Pegova, whose filmography will now be replenished at an incredible speed, has become part of the Petr Fomenko Workshop troupe. Almost immediately, she was introduced into several performances - “Wolves and Sheep”, “Barbaras”, “War and Peace”. And no matter what heroine she had to embody on the theatrical stage - either a dishwasher, or a noble lady - each turned out to be very talented. And for the role of Sonya in the production of "Uncle Vanya," she was nominated for a Golden Mask.
Cinematic roles also did not take long. In 2002, she played a veterinarian in the movie "Spartak and Kalashnikov." A year later, the role of charming Olga in the film "Walk" by Alexei Uchitel happened. This work became so successful that the actress received the Golden Eagle award, which was a pleasant surprise for her.
The debut in front of the movie camera lens was more than successful. Little time passed, and on Irina, proposals for filming spilled a rain of well-being. Now she could not rush and not agree to the first role that turned up. She read each scenario very carefully and chose the most appropriate role for herself.
In the theater, Irina plays mainly the classical repertoire. Her heroines are all purely positive ladies that cause spectators of different ages only a feeling of touchingness and sympathy.
Which is better: film or series?
Lately, Irina Pegova, who has grown thinner so much, has raised the bar of skill so high that she has painstakingly rejected incoming proposals for acting in TV shows. She made an exception only for the director Anatoly Mateshko (mini-series "Special Purpose Friend") and the television project "Savior under the Birches".
The filmography of Irina is constantly replenished, because the number of paintings with her participation is constantly increasing. In 2013 alone, viewers were able to see as many as five paintings with the participation of this sought-after actress! And once again she made an exception, playing the main role of the lawyer Masha Pirogova in the television series "Masha in Law". But it turned out to be a really interesting scenario. And the shooting in her life goes on.
Love, family, daughter, divorce ...
Her future husband (actor Dmitry Orlov) first saw Irina in the play "War and Peace." He was pleasantly surprised and even amazed. Later there was a meeting at the Moscow Film Festival. But Dmitry was not in a hurry to approach, and he didn’t especially plan, because he was sure that good wives did not work out of actresses. The Warsaw Film Festival put everything in its place, and the acquaintance finally took place.
Their relationship began very beautifully, as described in a book about love, with many hours of walks in Warsaw. Irina Pegova, whose height, the weight of which began to interest many fans of her talent, at first glance realized that Dmitry was her man. But he, on the contrary, was hiding under the guise of coldness and pretense of indifference. After Irina went on tour for a month, Orlov continued to show indifference. Therefore, Ira had to take the first steps. And once such important and necessary words of love were sounded to them both. They played the wedding at the request of relatives, because they themselves were sure that the notorious stamp would not add anything new to their relationship. Soon, their small family increased by one pretty man: they had a daughter, Tanya.

Friends and colleagues on the set did not cease to admire their friendly family, because all three of their free time they spent in the parks, exhibitions, cinemas ... Dmitry Orlov admitted to journalists in many interviews that he was very lucky with his wife because she is a wonderful mother, and a loving wife, and a wonderful housewife, and a talented actress. The couple even managed to realize their dream - to build a house. There they lived. And none of their entourage could allow the thought that Ira and Dima had some kind of misunderstanding. Seven years later, the couple broke up. Tanya stayed with mom. Whether Dmitry kept his promise to take part in raising his daughter remains a mystery to the mass audience.
For the actress, divorce was a huge stress. Soon after this event, photographs began to appear in periodicals, in which Irina Pegova was very thin. Now with an increase of 1.55 m, its weight is 56 kg. At first, this was unusual for her, but then she gladly reconciled with the lost kilos. And if in life after marriage, Dmitry Orlov understood everything (in October 2014, he entered into a new marriage - with actress Ksenia Entelis), then for Irina, not everything is so simple and clear. Journalists talked about her novels with famous young people from the acting community. But be that as it may, Irina lives with her daughter. And I really want to wish this truly Russian beauty real female happiness. Yes, such that forever!
