The series about the legendary hero of Spartak quickly became popular. He is cruel, realistic and very interesting. Each season brings additional touches to the overall story. That’s why it is so important to watch all the seasons in the series “Spartak” in order. A list may facilitate this task.
"Gods of the Arena"
The beginning of the story of Spartak seemed to the creators of the series not sufficiently informative. Outside of the plot were many heroes. In addition, the performer of the role of the legendary slave who revolted was killed. Therefore, after the release of the film "Spartacus: Blood and Sand", a prequel was shot. Watch it better sooner than the rest of the seasons.
“Spartacus: Gods of the arena” can only conditionally be called the story of the legendary slave, because he will not appear in the prequel. It will be about other fighters who successfully showed themselves during the battles.
One of the central characters was Batiatus. He understands how much people love the bloody performances that gladiators suit them. Therefore, he puts on these warriors in order to achieve glory for his home. His favorite is Gannicus. He showed himself perfectly during the battles, having won the love of the audience, and is considered the best among friends, receiving alcohol and women.
Becoming a favorite of Batiatus, the gladiator began to receive even more privileges. He could no longer train with everyone else and feel in a much more advantageous position. But everything changes when he is told to sleep with his wife's best friend.
The beautiful Melisita not only kindles love in the heart of Gannik, but also falls in love with him. More and more the warrior is tormented by the pangs of conscience because of the deceit of a friend. Together with the young woman, he decides not to say anything to Enomai. But each time the battles of Gannik are getting worse. He loses the interest of Batiatus and the public. And then the gladiator persuades him to sell.
On the last evening, Melisita comes to the former favorite. A woman dies in the arms of her lover. And for the gladiator, everything changes. Now he must stay to avenge Melisith.
"Blood and Sand"
Glabr gathered troops in order to destroy the cruel ruler Mithridates. But at the crucial moment, the Thracians, who thought they had been betrayed, left the battlefield and returned home. They need to defend their settlements from other warriors. Glabr was so angry with the action of the Thracians that in revenge he imprisoned their leader Spartacus. He became a gladiator, and his beloved wife turned out to be a slave.
Spartak proved to be a skilled and experienced warrior. At the first exit to the arena, he hit the audience. It was not long before he became a favorite of the public. But killing in the arena of people with whom he managed to make friends during training and living together, he did not like.
If you watch all the seasons in the series “Spartak” in order, the list, as a rule, will start from this season. Because this was the beginning of the story about the legendary fighter.
"Revenge"
The life of a slave in the Roman Empire greatly changed Spartacus. He became hardened and became an even more skilled warrior. The rebellion of slaves is a thing of the past. Now the legendary Thracian and his friends have received the long-awaited freedom and can dispose of it of their own free will. But slaves began to resemble robbers more and more. They attacked the rich and robbed them. Lived in small groups.
The fame of Spartak spread throughout the district. All freed slaves began to flock to him, wishing to create a single army capable of defending freedom and finding a decent way to continue their lives. Former gladiators began to pose an increasing threat to the Roman Empire. And then it was decided to assemble an army that would destroy Spartak and his friends.
The former slave and leader of the Thracians left many painful memories of the past. And only revenge can ease his suffering. True, responsibility for those who entrusted their lives to him did not allow Spartacus to go to war on the Roman Empire. And now she herself calls him to battle. Spartak considers this his chance to restore justice and avenge all the people he loved who died.
If you watch Spartak (all seasons in order), the list will not include the long-awaited long episodes about the uprising and details of how the gladiators escaped slavery. This was left overs for a number of reasons. However, the theme of the uprising will be raised many times in the new season.
"War of the Damned"
The story of the former slave and the most famous gladiator is drawing to a close. The season, called "Spartacus: War of the Damned", was the last. His events begin from the place where the previous one ended.
The Thracian was able to take revenge on his main enemy. But now that the former slaves killed the Romans, they are no longer regarded as gangs of robbers. They became a real threat that could do great harm to the power of the Roman Empire. They decide to give up the best forces to fight them. And then another legend enters the arena - Guy Julius Caesar. Together with his comrade Mark Crassus, he claims that he will be able to suppress the uprising and destroy his instigator. But only the former slaves have ceased to be an ordinary gang. They became an army capable of rebuffing the Romans. And this means that the main battle will begin, which is included in the textbooks.
If you watch Spartak all seasons in order, the list will contain several stories about the gladiator. But War of the Damned is perhaps the most dramatic of them.
