The brand of Soviet mascara from the factory "Freedom" under the name "Leningradskaya" is produced to this day and still has its fans. You can find it for 25 rubles, and for a higher price. This product is famous for its non-standard packaging and is a box with a tool and a special brush for applying. The peculiarity of this carcass was that it was dry, and in order to make up, the composition had to be wetted. Very often, women used a not entirely hygienic method, from where the popular name of the product came - "spit". And this is not all the disadvantages of using this "miracle cosmetics." The brush looked like a miniature toothbrush, the mascara was drawn unevenly on it, because of which it was necessary to use a needle or a sharpened match to separate sticky eyelashes.
However, with all this, the product gives a rich color and good volume, so connoisseurs are today. But they often say that this brand of Soviet mascara has changed significantly since then.
