"The Last Testament of Nobel" is a worthy and hard-shot detective story with elements of a thriller, the bet in which is made solely on atmospheric.

This fact cannot but rejoice, because the director did not go the easy way, cramming the picture with numerous frank demonstrations of spectacular and spectacular bloody killings. Nevertheless, “The Last Testament of the Nobel” (2012) contains elements of classical suspense. Anxious anxiety, exciting expectation do not leave the viewer during the entire timing of the film. For this, first of all, honor and praise to director Peter Flint, who did not shame the dignity of Swedish and Danish cinema, which, after the release of the film “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” became in a blink of an eye a global brand. However, unfortunately, P. Flint's film cannot be compared with the mentioned masterpiece, it is very even, correct. The absence of strong impressive moments that could become a much-needed shake-up for the viewer does not make the wide audience to directly participate in what is happening on the screen. You just watch the development of the plot. But even with this in fairness it is worth noting that with each new episode, emotional outbursts are becoming stronger and more frequent, which in organic interaction with a rich action can not but rejoice.
The plot and its development

The plot of the film "The Last Testament of the Nobel" after a not-so-long tie unfolds quite famously, but it cannot be otherwise. Think for yourself: how can a “journalistic detective” be measured with traditional access to the highest echelons of power? At the same time, the authors managed to maintain the main intrigue until the very climax. The middle of the tape is adequately served as a dynamic investigation, but not even the essence of it. According to the author of this article, the main plot of the film is contained in the intriguing personality of the main antagonist. As the plot develops, there will be plenty of candidates for this role, but with every turn of the storyline they will be eliminated due to their violent death, that is, murder. A wide range of suspects awaits the viewer, so everyone who watches will even involuntarily join their own investigation to get to the truth on their own. And the whole action begins with a celebration on the occasion of the awarding of the same Nobel Prize, which is attended by reporter Anika Bengzton. A woman witnesses the murder of a rather influential official. As a true journalist, despite the police ban, the main character begins a private investigation, which gradually leads her to a sensational solution. A pseudoscientific detective, now and then briskly switching to a thriller or an action, is what the "Last Testament of the Nobel" is. Reviews, by the way, about the picture are very contradictory, but more positive, the third part is neutral, although there are also a few negative ones.
Musical highlight
The only thing that all critics have unanimously noted is the musical accompaniment of A. Norden. The music in the film “The Last Testament of Nobel” is rather tough and intense, but some element of mystery, mystery in sound, unexpected real overtures gave fresh notes. In any case, the musical accompaniment of the detective cannot be called traditional for the thriller. Moreover, all the experiments of the composer were ideally combined with the ongoing action. Already in order to appreciate the efforts of Norden, we can recommend this movie for viewing.
