Clark Duke is an American actor, screenwriter, producer and director. He began his acting career at the age of five, and has since appeared in forty films, series, commercials and music videos. Best known for the comedy film "The Time Machine in the Jacuzzi", the superhero action movie "Pipets" and the popular series "Office".
Childhood and career start
Clark Duke was born May 5, 1985 in Glenwood, Arkansas. From the age of five, he began acting in films. Appeared in an advertisement for Toyota cars. At the age of seven, he got a regular role in the sitcom Blazing Passion, where he appeared on the screen with such stars as Billy Bob Thornton and John Ritter. In total, Clark Duke starred in 54 episodes of the series and even received a nomination for the award for best young actor.
Unlike most child actors, Clark decided to concentrate on his studies and, after graduating from high school, he entered one of the universities in California to study film production. A year after the premiere of the first season of “Clark and Michael,” Clark Duke and Michael Cera, as well as aspiring actor John Hill, who appeared in their series, auditioned for a role in the comedy “Super Peppers”. Sera and Hill got a job, and instead of Clark, the creators decided to call for the role of Christopher Mintz-Plasse, the hero of this article had to be content with only an episodic role.
The first among notable films with Clark Duke is the youth comedy Sexdrive, which was released in 2008. Two years later, Clark appeared in the comedy action movie "Kick-Ass" in the role of the main character and in one of the central roles in the comedy "Time Machine in the Jacuzzi."

In 2007, Clark Duke received one of the main roles in the youth series "University", which lasted four seasons. In 2012, he joined the main cast of the popular TV series "Office" for the last (ninth) season. Clark also appeared as a guest actor in the sitcoms New Girl, Two and a Half Men, and Workaholics.
Since 2017, Clark Duke has been playing one of the main roles in the drama series about the birth of the stand-up comedy "I Die With Laughter."
