There are two types of tuning: external and internal.
External tuning

Internal tuning
This is a complex process that requires skillful hands and experience. It is better to experiment on cheap options for airsoft guns, otherwise give it to the masters. Internal tuning requires a lot of time, financial investments, but the result is worth it, you can improve the reliability of the mechanism, power, accuracy, rate of fire.
Power is increased by replacing the springs with stiffer ones. Note that the pressure on the gears of the mechanism is also growing. Airsoft AK-74 and other latest models are produced with steel parts of sufficient strength. In older models, gears are also better replaced.
