Unfortunately, time is quite fleeting. It is becoming more and more difficult for contemporaries to imagine the atmosphere of the post-war period - neither modern films telling about that era, nor the efforts of the directors, nor even the actors who got used to the image of the heroes, help. Maryina Grove is a rare exception in this regard. The series reveals in sufficient detail and reliably the everyday life of that historical period, a person of the post-war period in the context of "here and now." These are the incomprehensible contradictions of the Russian soul: low and high, servility and thirst for freedom, torment of conscience and treachery, crime.
Not a highlight, but a cupcake
The first season (16 episodes) of the Marina Grove television series is easy to watch, the plot is intriguing and captivating, and all because the detective stories about the stories of bygone years are still more interesting than the dim-witted modern "chernushny" films from the series "bandits-businessmen- cops. " And the series "Marina Grove" boasts a leading role - Alexander Domogarov (Konstantin Troshin). Almost on one of him, on his outstanding game, the whole project rests. To call his character a "highlight" does not turn his tongue - he is a real cupcake. The protagonist is pathologically honest, in Troshin such features as the need for justice, the aforementioned honesty and humanity are sharply manifested. The character is alive, you believe him, you sympathize and empathize.
Two women, one man
Evgenia Kryukova (mistress of the thieves' raspberry ") is an unusually beautiful woman. The outfits of the forties are ideal for her, it is a great pleasure to watch her on the screen. No less vivid was the image of ex-wife Troshin in Yana Lvova. According to the idea of the creators, these two actresses were specially invited to the role of the women of the protagonist, the fact is that they have completely different types of appearance. And the heroines have everything diametrically opposite: fate, character, life. The only thing that by chance they have in common is Troshin - one for two. Watching the game of leading actors, with each series you are convinced that they are real actors. “Marina Grove” presents a great many diverse characters to the audience’s judgment, which were embodied on the screen by Vitaly Kudryavtsev, Sergey Komarov, Savva Gusev, Elena Doronina and others.
Plot
The series "Maryina Grove" begins its narrative from the moment the protagonist returns from the front. There is a post-war period in the yard (mid-forties), and Troshin sincerely hopes, or rather even expects, to continue serving in the police. However, this turns out to be quite difficult, since during the fighting he unsuccessfully clashed with one person, and now he is offered only the most dangerous and difficult work in the area with a difficult criminal situation. Living in a communal apartment in that famous Marina Grove, Konstantin Troshin finds himself in the epicenter of the heyday of crime in the capital. But this will not be the most important test for the protagonist. Konstantin, like all normal people, wants to love. Pretty soon Troshin meets a fatal woman. Nina is as beautiful as she is deprived of generally accepted human moral values. And the man has to make a difficult choice between duty and love. Mura’s operative Konstantin (A. Domogarov) will have a hard time. "Maryina Grove" is positioned by the creators as a historical detective story, however serious passions boil there.
Structure
The television series is built on an intriguing, “mixed” principle: throughout the timekeeping, the main storyline is being progressively developed, within which each individual episode is devoted to a separate story, a separate crime (sometimes unsolved). In this, some film critics draw a parallel between the creation of Alexander Khan and the series "Pointing". The plot of each film takes place in the same time period, the main characters are former war veterans, both have problems. Although there is still a significant difference in these projects - the actors. "Marina Grove" has much more stars of domestic cinema in the lists of leading actors. And about the originality of the idea, one must admit honestly: the very story of the transformation of an experienced front-line soldier into a police officer is far from new, the origins should be found in the legendary film "You can’t change the meeting place" and other films of the USSR era.
Kinolyapy film is not a hindrance
Quite a bit about kinolapy. Naturally, all reproductions of the paintings of the famous Shishkin that adorn the walls of the apartment of a beautiful woman - a stolen woman - are made using current technology and decorated in a modern frame. In one of the episodes, the hero of Domogarov, finding himself in a car with a general’s daughter, opens a thermos also quite modern. But all of the above are only details in the material attributes of the life of those years. However, when the audience is absorbed in the developing action, the game of actors, they believe their skill, as if manifesting a soul, they do not require absolute naturalness, are content even with schematic decorations. And I must admit, the actors did not let the creators down: Maryina Grove, if not a documentary, then certainly an artistic reconstruction of the atmosphere of that time. And in the series, only the spiritual section is important, and the material fades into the background, becomes indifferent. The creative authorial team of like-minded people created an exceptional series that will become the “imprint” of that everyday life in the soul of a modern person. Therefore, thousands of fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the continuation of the series - "Marina Grove 2" (release date November 17, 2014).
