The most unifying mission of the Gilmore girls is a friendly confrontation with the wealthy and prim parents of Lorilea - Emily and Richard Gilmore. Even after 16 years, they cannot reconcile with their daughterâs unexpected pregnancy and her even more unexpected flight from under the crown and parental home.
