A lot of strong athletes passed through the Neftekhimik hockey school, which is located in the small town of Nizhnekamsk. Many of them are now playing in the most prestigious world championships. One of the pupils the school is proud of is Aleksey Ugarov, a hockey player with a good scoring sense. It was thanks to his abandoned washers that the clubs achieved high results.
The beginning of the sports path
Alexey Mikhailovich Ugarov was born on January 2, 1985 in the city of Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan. As a child, Alex was a sports child who was fond of various games. Alexei began to play hockey at the local sports school "Neftekhimika". This educational institution, which is located in the small town of Nizhnekamsk, has presented many of its pupils to Russian hockey. At the end of the school, Ugarov Alexei began playing for the farm club "Neftekhimika" in the first Russian league. In 2013, he decided to change his place of residence. Aleksey successfully passed the show in the Minsk team called "Youth". He played for her second composition in the major league of Belarus. But, looking at his magnificent game, everyone understood that Alexey Ugarov would soon join the main team.
Speaking for the main teams
Since 2014, Ugarov began to play for the main team of the Yunost club in the Belarusian League. But nevertheless Ugarov Alexei decided to say goodbye to her and return to his native “Neftekhimik”. There he spent three good seasons, speaking in the championship of Russia. Then he decided to move to the HC MVD.
At the time of his transition in the league, serious changes occurred. The Russian League has turned into the Continental Hockey League. New teams were added and internal regulations changed. Two years after the arrival of Ugarov, the hockey club of the HC MVD merged with Dynamo Moscow in the Dynamo OHK. Alexey found a place in the new team, and a contract was signed with him. Then this hockey player moved to the Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo”. He got a lot of playing time there. For 2 seasons Alexey played 82 games in a team.
But still, he decided to move on to Admiral. There Alex spent three seasons. He did not achieve high achievements there. But fans of the HC Admiral team will remember his performances for a long time. After that, the career began to decline. “Khabarovsk Amur” after several games decided to break the contract with the striker, and he went to Severstal.
Participation in international competitions
Despite the fact that Ugarov Aleksey was born in Russia, his team is a team from Belarus. Back in 2005, he joined the youth squad. After that, he was annually attracted to the main Belarusian hockey team. And also in 2010, Ugarov fought with her at the Olympic Games. For his international team, this hockey player played a total of 42 games and gave 18 assists.
After the Belarusian and Kazakh hockey players received the status of legionnaires in the Championship of the Continental Hockey League, Alexei had to end his career in the national team. A team playing in the KHL can claim no more than 5 legionnaires for the game. Alexey Ugarov is a hockey player who has proven himself well, but within such a framework he could lose his place in the team. And having finished his career in the national team, Ugarov ceased to be listed as a legionnaire.
Sports achivments
Over his long sports career, Ugarov more than once climbed the podium. In 2004, 2005, 2006, as part of the Minsk team, he became the champion of Belarus. And also in 2005 the Belarus Cup was taken. Then Ugarov went to play in Russia. At home, he failed to win gold medals, but he was close to this in 2010. But in a bitter struggle in the final, his team was defeated, eventually becoming the second in the Gagarin Cup. This result was largely achieved by the club thanks to the game of Alexei. In this draw, he became the best sniper.

Alexey Ugarov visited many teams and played a large number of games. Now his career is nearing completion. But perhaps Ugarov will not leave hockey and begin a new career in the status of a coach or manager in one of the KHL teams. Fans, especially the Belarusian team, will forever remember this hockey player, who often pleased them with his goals at the World Championships and the Olympic Games. Over his long career, Alex has visited many teams and in each of them he showed decent hockey.
