After the adoption of the new legislative act “On Police” in 2011, serious changes began in this department. The appearance of employees did not remain the same: a completely new uniform was modeled and sewn for them.
What changed
The new police uniform was tested for several years in different regions of the country. About two thousand people were employed in the audit. Igor Chapurin, a costume designer for Mosfilm, took part in creating the uniform. Samples of the new police uniform are tailored from materials of natural origin with the addition of a small amount of lycra so that clothes do not crumple. For the warm season, “breathable” clothes were invented. All fabrics must be domestic production - this is one of the main requirements for the form.
In general, the new form of police uniform is quite diverse. It is different for each police unit. Of the innovations: the officer jacket was supplemented with a red edging on the cuff, the generals received a gilded edging on the collars. Women were offered the most comfortable 4.5 cm heel and felt berets. The name, position and place of service of the policeman can now be read on the badge attached to the chest of the employee. Even the identity of the policeman has changed. Now it has even more degrees of protection, and ministry data will be printed in capital letters. The police uniform of the new sample was supplemented by other sleeve insignia - chevrons.
Form types for each employee
According to the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which regulates the wearing of uniforms, each police officer has several sets of uniforms for various service options and weather conditions. The uniform is divided into: weekend, everyday, for special occasions, for serving on the street - for police officers on guard. Each of them has a summer and winter version. The badge with the employee’s data should be placed in a chest removable pocket on the right side of blouses, shirts, tunics, jackets. The card with their data is not carried by all police officers, but only by those who are supposed to do it by the type of service.
Weekend uniform
The uniform of the police officer of the new sample is worn for the time of taking the oath, on guard, on holidays, in the case of conferring special ranks, presentation for the award and consists of the following items of clothing: caps and tunic of steel color, woolen dark blue trousers, white shirt, dark - a blue tie with gold trim, boots or low shoes in black and black socks. To build a suit, the exit is complemented by a golden belt and white gloves. For persons with a rank of Colonel or higher, these gloves are leather. The winter version of the output form is complemented by dark blue coats and a cap with earflaps. The top bosses are gray. Shoes should be appropriate for the season. Smart makes the shape of a white muffler. In accordance with the color of basic clothing, insignia are sewn: dark blue or steel color. The removable collar of the top bosses is made of gray karakul, and the boss and the rank and file wear a dark blue sheepskin.
Service dress
The uniform of the new police officer for every day differs from the day off by the color of the shirt. In this case, it is gray-blue, and in winter it is complemented with a mulberry tree of the same color scheme. Everyday uniform may include: a woolen navy blue jacket instead of a coat in winter, a raincoat with a muffler in the summer of the same color. A winter coat can be worn without a removable collar. If it is warm in the cold season, it is allowed not to wear gloves. It is possible to lower the headphones at the earflaps if it is colder than -10 ° C outside. The coat must be fastened with all buttons, and one top button can be unfastened. The raincoat is worn only under the belt, although if it is hot in it, it is allowed to carry the raincoat folded and thrown inside the left hand inside out.
For special occasions
A special form of clothing is worn by the police if they perform special service and operational tasks. So, for police officers on the road, there are several options for a suit. The new police uniform for patrol officers consists of a dark blue summer suit for motorcycle rides, the same T-shirt, comforter, navy blue summer cap, leather equipment, boots, and underbody protection. The uniform can be supplemented with a jumper, wind-shelter and demi-season suits, boots with high berets.
Full dress police uniform of a new sample
The female form is very similar to the clothes of stewardesses, because many details are borrowed from them. For women with the ranks of the police, justice and internal service, rank and file and senior officers, the service uniform consists of the following items of clothing. In winter and on the way out, women are invited to wear: a woolen navy blue coat and steel jacket, a skirt and tie in the same color scheme, white blouse and scarf, black or flesh tights, woolen gloves, demi-season or winter boots with black fur. The parade summer uniform of the new type of police for women consists of a felt navy blue hat (beret), a steel-colored jacket, a navy blue skirt and tie, a white blouse, flesh-colored tights and black shoes. In addition, it is allowed to wear a cap instead of a hat in summer and a hat instead of a hat in winter. In the cold season, you can wear trousers, a demi-season jacket instead of a coat. In summer, a demi-season navy blue cloak is considered as an option for outerwear.
Women's clothing for every day
Everyday women's uniform, as well as men's, differs from the output in the color of the blouse. Every day a dark gray blouse is allowed. In summer, it can be worn without a jacket. At the same time of the year, it is allowed to wear a navy cloak, woolen trousers, a woolen navy blue jacket instead of a jacket. The hat and cap are worn with a slight slope to the right, and the hat is only straight. It is unacceptable to wear summer hats with a winter jacket with a removable fur collar. The jacket should be fastened with all buttons.
