2016 was rich in premieres of new films, sitcoms and large-scale stories. One such novelty is the series "Runaway relatives." Actors here are collected famous and with different cinematic biographies. And despite the fact that some actors were loved by the audience for a couple of decades, and they met with others only three or four years ago, in this picture everyone created an excellent acting team.
Mother-in-law or oligarch - the main Doctor Evil?
The light comedy "Runaway Relatives", whose actors played their roles with surprising ease, is another story on a swindler. The protagonist steals on a very large scale. It is he - the oligarch Chuikin - who is the very Doctor Evil who is the cause of all the sorrows of deceived equity holders, who in our country is a parable. And, as they usually say, if it weren’t so sad and sad, it might even be very fun and funny.
Strange as it may seem, but they started shooting a film about this problem only now, although a few years ago it was much “hotter”. Although, as a rule, such acutely social problems are not at all the format of the STS channel. Including it, viewers, as a rule, expect to see good family comedies in which the mother-in-law acts as the main concentration of Evil. But disgraced oligarchs, as a rule, are not talking.
Who did the producers put on?
At first glance, it might seem that when shooting the series “Runaway Relatives”, they were betting on Sergei Zhigunov. Indeed, the last decade, despite the fact that this artist has a great many interesting roles, he is loved precisely for his playing in history, where he was first the employer and then the husband of the nanny Vicki.
The director of the picture (after the sitcom was released) said that for a very long time they were thinking about the actor for the role of the oligarch Chuikin. And stopped at Zhigunov.
Another favorite actor from the young cohort was Dmitry Endaltsev. He became the ultimate dream of teenage girls after starring in the series Survive After.
So, the comedy “Runaway Relatives”. The actors in the episodes were also at their best, not inferior to the venerable colleagues who played the main roles in the workshop.
Another hero is actor Anatoly Zhuravlev, who is a little strange and unexpected to see in such an easy genre. He is still associated with the majority of viewers with the image of the most ordinary Russian working guy from the 1995 Astrakhan film and guard Tolstoy from the series about the Bourgeois. And the series “Runaway Relatives” seemed to show what happened to a simple guy after more than twenty years.
From an arthouse to a sitcom?
And now a little about female images. Quite unexpected and even probably strange was the appearance in the series "Runaway Relatives", whose actors created a close-knit team, actress Agrippina Steklova. She was used to seeing trying on serious, even dramatic roles, so at first it was very unusual to watch her play. She was a little cramped in this image. The sitcom still has its own rules: each character has his own character, and all the images are collective. Spectators should see in each hero their acquaintances, friends, neighbors ... And here a certain dissonance turned out: Agrippina has a huge acting experience and texture is quite rich, so it was difficult for her to play a schematic person. The result was a strange picture: she had something to say and she could say a lot, but the topic was not worth a damn.
And so the shooting process of the sitcom “Runaway Relatives” continued. The actors and the roles played by them, nevertheless attracted the interested look of spectators of different ages. But, perhaps, by attracting such colorful actors and actresses, the domestic filmmaker is trying to improve the quality of the series. By the way, with the series on "STS" everything was always pretty good.
TV series
Once the stars in the sky converged in such a way that Dima met Julia. As usually happens with two young people, love came to them. There is only one “but”: Dima is the son of the oligarch Boris Chuikin, and Julia was born in the most ordinary family.
Dima does not want to bear the name of his father, because he does not feel any pride for her. He himself tries to earn a living. Gradually, everything goes to the wedding.
Probably, this would have turned out to be the usual story about Cinderella, if not for the plot, which brought a twist to the series “Runaway Relatives”. The actors and roles embodied by them on the screen displayed all this.
The oligarch and his co-investors
There comes a moment when the groom meets the bride's parents. But suddenly, his father bursts into the apartment, who is wanted for organizing a construction pyramid. Following the father come mom and sister.
But this is not the worst thing. As it becomes clear a little later, the parents of his bride are just one of those real estate investors whom his father deceived.
Now the young man must not only reconcile both families, but also keep relatives on the run, each of whom is not used to denying himself anything.
Oligarch family
- Boris Chuikin is a runaway oligarch who has counted thousands of deceived investors. Even in the nineties, using his strong elbows, every lack of shame and fearlessness, he flew up the career ladder from the usual fraudster to the construction oligarch as soon as possible. He loves his wife, but does not forget to constantly deceive her. I'm used to thinking only about myself.
- Dima, his son. The guy does not approve of the way his father does business, so he is trying to hide his relationship with Chuikin. He is sure that he is capable of achieving everything in life himself. He has a girlfriend and a big dream.
- Katya, daughter of Chuikin. She loves her brother and makes every effort to ensure that parents on both sides agree on the choice of their children. Accustomed to wealth, she hardly survives the bankruptcy of her father and really wants to return the life in which she has revolved so far.
- Larisa, wife of Chuikin. He does not shine with a special mind, but he loves his family very much. She is used to living in luxury, but after the bankruptcy of her husband, she tries to restrain her appetites and reconcile her son with her father.
This is the oligarch’s family in the sitcom “Runaway Relatives”. Actors surprisingly harmoniously fit into their roles.
Railroad Family
- Julia, the girl of Dima. Student of philology. Sincerely loves her boyfriend. With the future mother-in-law, she instantly finds a common language, but with the father-in-law and sister Dima, it is not yet possible to establish relations.
- Oleg, Pope Julia is a hereditary railroad worker. He worked honestly all his life. Oleg is confident that his word for the family is the ultimate truth. He doesn't like his daughter's boyfriend, especially when he finds out who his dad is. But for the sake of happiness, the only child is ready to give up his life principles.
- Galina, mother of Julia. A faithful wife and caring mother with her own philosophy of family life. She liked Dima right away, and now she is trying to convince her husband of the same.
