Vision Android first appeared in The Avengers # 57 comic book, which was published in 1968. According to the plot, the smart robot was assembled by the supervillain Ultron from the remnants of another android that was once a superhero. In order for Vision to obey unquestioningly, Ultron mounted special enslaving crystals for him.
Vision was supposed to help Ultron in the fight against the Avengers. However, a team of good superheroes managed to “recount” the android, and he helped his new friends defeat the villain Ultron.
