What is a generation?
We will not beat around the bush, but immediately get down to business. A generation is a group of human individuals that were born in the same time period and grew under the same historical conditions. A generation consists of people of the same year of birth and those who are as close to them as possible. For example, those born in 1960 and those born five years earlier or later will be one generation. People from the same generation feel a certain solidarity among themselves and in many respects have similar views and life experiences.
At the end of the last century, the so-called theory of generations was created. This is the theory according to which, people who were born at the same time and experienced a similar experience in childhood, will have the same values. For example, people who survived hostilities will have a positive attitude towards work and fear hunger, and their descendants, who have not seen all this horror, will wish for rest and self-realization. Hence, the well-known "dispute between fathers and children" appears.
Generation conflict - what is it?
It often happens that people from different generations cannot find a common language, and on this basis they have various disagreements. People from two temporary generations may have a different worldview, different idols and different ideas about how to live. Often children reject the values โโof the generation of their parents and do not want to accept them as role models. This is called a generational conflict.
Despite all the differences, the role of the older generation in maintaining society is indescribable. From time immemorial, older people were considered authorities. They were a kind of mediator between the world of the living and the world of the dead. It was believed that old people who survived several generations were a source of knowledge and wisdom. This attitude towards older people has remained to this day.
From this it follows that humanity can be conditionally divided into contemporaries, ancestors and descendants. Grandparents are ancestors, you and your mom and dad are contemporaries, and your unborn children are descendants.
From us, our descendants are left with the cultural memory of generations: palaces, churches, roads, houses, stations, canals, various kinds of literature, works of pictorial art, scientific hypotheses and theories, traditions, etc.

With synonyms for the word "generation" everything is clear, we can move on. A little lower we will talk about the so-called generation Z - a concept that raises many questions among many users of the World Wide Web.
Generation Z
This generation - children who were born after 2000. This is the first generation in human history born in the digital world. Its representatives can no longer imagine life without the Internet and modern technology. As many experts note, children from generation Z live in a world without borders, but the problem is that their whole world is limited to the monitor screen of a mobile phone or computer.

Such children can do their homework at the same time, correspond with several friends, listen to music tracks and communicate with parents. This ability to receive data from several sources immediately leads to the fact that the speed of perception of information increases significantly. On the one hand, this is good, but on the other hand, there are also disadvantages. The fact is that the brain, accustomed to a high speed of processing information, in a sense begins to get bored (for example, in the classroom, when information is supplied from one source). Because of this, modern children and teachers who are several times older than them have a lot of communication problems. Teachers simply cannot keep the attention of children on something specific, and because of this they are angry with them.
Generation is what? We hope that after reading this article you will no longer ask this question.
