A classical dance lesson necessarily includes all exercise options for the whole body. They are performed at various rates, rhythms, combinations, compounds, and repetitions. Exercise is a set of exercises designed to improve the technique, which is the foundation of the dance.
This set of exercises is performed either at the machine or in the middle of the rehearsal room. As a rule, this complex consists of squats (plie), "rhonda" and batmans. Classical exercise is performed with musical accompaniment or “counted”.
What is the essence of exersis
To understand what an exercise is, you need to know that thanks to these exercises in classical dance lessons, the skills that are required for expressively and correctly performing dance elements are developed: flexibility, rotation, a large dance step, precise coordination of movements, strength, endurance, high easy jump and plastic hands.
In principle, Exercise is a dance exercise for the development of body plastics and motor culture. Having achieved the correct coordination of all body movements in the dance exercise, in the future the dancer will be able to fill his movements with mood, thought, that is, make them expressive and artistic.
Modern Exercise
In its modern form, Exercise is a more perfect, refined and unified system of dance elements, combinations and exercises, developed on the basis of a long choreographic experience. All elements of Exercise became part of the modern system of exercises after natural selection. Now this complex includes only the really necessary elements that are maximally aimed at developing and training the student’s psychophysical apparatus. Exercise is the basis of choreographic education to create a “musical body” that can express the essence of a musical work with the help of dance plastic.
Exercise Components
Each element of exercise is a simple and focused plastic position of the dancer's body with the inclusion of certain parts of it - legs, arms, body and head. Exercise is the ABC of choreographic vocabulary. The main components of the complex are: exercises of folk stage and classical dance and musical material on the basis of which these exercises are performed. The impact of these components is combined into a single process of dance and plastic development of the student. Movement and music form the choreographic and artistic basis in the development of which a dance is created.
Improving Exercise Elements
A dancing skill is acquired only if two important factors are combined: training and focused mental activity of the student. Exercise is an opportunity to achieve the coordination of movement that is absolutely necessary for the dancer at the highest level. The student must be able to quickly and accurately reproduce the named or shown dance elements, and this experience can be developed by practicing the exercise on the machine. Classical dance is not just movement, it is creating the right dynamic stereotype.
The particular value of the exercise is also that with its help it is possible to figuratively improve such elements of movements as size, pace, number of repetitions, direction, muscle effort and character. Which, in principle, is the main goal in the development and improvement of body plastics.
Exercise Sections
Exercise includes two sections: a set of elements based on classical dance, and exercises based on folk stage dance. Classic Exercise is a complex, multi-stage and lengthy process that requires patience. Every classical dance lesson necessarily includes exercises for all parts of the body. It is worth noting the importance of the sequence of learning the movements, it should not be random and should take into account the degree of difficulty of the elements, as well as their useful and logical combination.

For the first lessons, as a rule, choose a ground exercise. In this option, exercises on tension and relaxation of the muscles of the legs are first performed, then they work on the eversion of the legs. In the first weeks of classes, the choreographer teaches students five positions of the legs, three positions of the hands, the correct position of the body and the preparatory position of the hands. In exercise, a large load falls on the supporting leg, strongly eversion, elongated and taking on all the weight of the body.

When performing any exercise of an exersis, the body is in a tightened and vertical position, except for those moments when it is necessary to bend, tilt or turn it. In the movements of the hands in poses and positions softness is developed. Basically, the setting of the hands and the fastening of the correct form occur in the second position. Various turns and tilts of the head are present in all the movements of the exercise, starting from the very first exercise at the stick.
