The future actor was born in the capital on June 4, 1962. After graduation, he entered GITIS, in the workshop of Oscar Remez. Together with him, famous actors and actresses studied today, such as Leonid Gromov, Irina Rozanova, Roman Madyanov, Igor Ugolnikov and others. During his student years, Alexander Barinov had the opportunity to work under the direction of directors Pyotr Fomenko, Kama Ginkas and Oleg Kudryashev.

After receiving the diploma, the actor was drafted into the Soviet army. There he served in the fortified area in the Far East.

Alexander Barinov is not an actor of one role. For almost three decades of his creative work in theater and cinema, he played both comedic characters and people with a tragic fate.
