The future actor was born in the capital on June 4, 1962. After graduation, he entered GITIS, in the workshop of Oscar Remez. Together with him, famous actors and actresses studied today, such as Leonid Gromov, Irina Rozanova, Roman Madyanov, Igor Ugolnikov and others. During his student years, Alexander Barinov had the opportunity to work under the direction of directors Pyotr Fomenko, Kama Ginkas and Oleg Kudryashev.

After receiving the diploma, the actor was drafted into the Soviet army. There he served in the fortified area in the Far East.

Alexander Barinov is not an actor of one role. For almost three decades of his creative work in theater and cinema, he played both comedic characters and people with a tragic fate. In the film “Under the Dome of the Circus,” he even once had to portray a clown disguised as a woman. Moreover, according to the testimony of the audience, he coped well with this difficult task.

As already mentioned, Alexander Barinov managed to overcome alcohol addiction and return to his favorite work. Fortunately, the directors and producers believed that his problems were already in the past, and began to actively invite the actor to the entreprise.

In particular, the images created by him on the stage of the Apostle Peter (“Poor Judas”), Treplev (“The Seagull”), Gorodnichy (“The Examiner”) and Famusov in the production of Griboedov’s play “Woe from Wit” were highly appreciated.

As for the audience, they consider Alexander Barinov’s best work to participate in the television series “Gold of Ugra”, where he played one of the key roles. For her performance, the actor was nominated for the Golden Aries Prize and the main prize of the Shock Film Festival.
