Another thing is if the public does not understand the complexity of a particular technique, then the clacker is already entering the game.
A clacker is not only a person who applauds, but also one who can disrupt the entire performance, lower the level of acting, etc. They hire such people to eliminate competitors in the cultural sphere and nullify their popularity in their circles. Such hackers can shout loudly "fu!" at the climax, throw the tomato on stage or even in the actor. In general, hackers know what and when to do in order to disrupt any public event.
Clackers rarely sit alone in the hall. One person who shouts “bravo” to the entire audience is unlikely to cause the same emotions in the public. The same applies to hackers who disrupt or spoil performances. Usually people come to the presentation in a group and disperse around the room so that their exclamations are evenly distributed.
Clackers are those people who are hired for money. They either help raise the level of theatrical performance, or lower all the ratings of a performance in a given theater. They are carefully prepared before the performance itself and always know the scenario: at what point you need to exclaim, at which to cry, etc. Also, there may be a person behind the scenes who will oversee the work of clackers in the hall. He can give a sign (a nod of his head or any other unremarkable gesture) at a certain point in the performance.
Types of Hackers
Among the followers of the craft there is a division by role. For example, a separate group includes people who will applaud, shout “bravo” and whistle loudly. Others interfere with the play of the actors, shouting out loud words of contempt, stamping their feet, etc.
Among the clackers there may also be women who are obliged, for example, to “cry” at the most dramatic moment, and to faint at the most intense moment. The last action is rarely used, so as not to suspect oneself, however, "fainting" is considered one of the most effective tools of the clacker.
Also, a clacker is one who, in between acts, talks with visitors to the play in the buffet, standing in line, at the table, in the lobby, and raises a topic. They begin to discuss the action on stage, praising, or, conversely, belittling the play of the actors and the whole scenario.

From the middle of the 20th century, the clacker profession began to gradually recede into the past. Now it has become a disease of individual theaters when, as in many civilized cultural institutions, the craft has already lost its former popularity. However, it is said that at some ballet performances, the clackers at the Bolshoi Theater will still continue their activities. True or not, no one knows.
How the clacker society was formed
