Therefore, it is not at all surprising that one of the most iconic and powerful dramatic thrillers with a detective bias - the film "Seven" (reviews position it that way), many equate to the "seven wonders" of cinema.

American director David Fincher, a formerly sought after video maker, aroused a lot of sarcastic, sarcasm-filled remarks in his address when he shot the fantastic horror film âAlien 3â. However, this reaction did not cool the creative fuse of genius, and just on the eve of his 33th birthday he presented the detective thriller âSevenâ to the wider cinema community, which put all his detractors in their place. He masterfully retained the intrigue, with highly artistic aesthetic tricks, he walked along the line between high-pitched cinema and "movies for everyone." Such success was unpredictable for the picture "Seven". The 1995 film, fortunately, did not repeat the fate of the film âSuspectsâ, which deservedly received two Oscars and high ratings from film critics, but at the same time had very modest results.
The excitement around the film
Opponents tried to reproach the film âSevenâ (1995) - reviews as evidence - of excessive calculation, intentional capture of capricious and unusual audience preferences, careful accuracy, as if in the above, there is something vicious. However, for the little-known film company âNew Line Cinemaâ, which was considered a ânew nomineeâ or even âhalf-majorâ in Hollywood, the atmosphere of general excitement around the Fincher film was just as pleasant a surprise as for the film company âMiramaxâ the undisputed cash triumph of âPulp Fictionâ . Maniac - moral absolutist

He repeatedly perplexed detectives who were accustomed to think more than one-dimensionally. He made every sacrifice with an obvious demonstration of his superiority, learning, and ingenuity. Being a moral absolutist and wanting to become famous, he publicly punished those townsfolk who were characterized by voluptuousness, gluttony, laziness, stinginess and pride. Well, the climax of uncontrolled anger, even sincere and even justified, should have become an apotheosis, since the object of this feeling was personally volens nolens, the aforementioned murderer manipulator.
Creator draw in black humor style
âSevenâ is a film (reviews on Imkhonet describe this fact in detail), which has a veiled directorâs joke in the credits. At the very beginning, all the credits appear as if someone with an invisible hand scratches them with a blade on the glass - a beautiful, just exemplary image of madness, in which the killer assumes the title of inevitable and ruthless Rock. But the final credits creep backwards, albeit in the same crooked manner. A trifle, it would seem, however what a capacious and clever trick of the creator! All the sins are uncovered, the secret traditionally becomes apparent, it remains only to wonder at the maniacâs ability to see the future. This so-called "criminal demiurge", keeping citizens and police in fear, was played by Kevin Spacey, who simultaneously managed to play the role of a demonic criminal in the movie "Suspected Faces" and get an Oscar.

It is not for nothing that the creators of the film boldly plunge into cinematic and cultural studies with the sole purpose of obtaining the desired formula for success with the viewer. They managed not only to make the viewer think about the method and style of their life, but also told about the cunning and cunning of modern murderers, who at times are not so crazy, and not at all stupid.

An ambulance is already rushing to him, and he writes a message to his beloved woman, because he bequeathed his heart to her.
Not a drama, but a science fiction newsreel
By the culmination of the drama âSeven Livesâ (the reviews of the film are diametrically opposed), the unfortunate faint-hearted spectator has blood-stained black boys in the eyes of the wall and the realization that he watched the not-so-murderous sample of a new-fashioned camp, but the controversial issue of a science fiction newsreel. This is a real tragicomedy, the creator of which is the director and screenwriter in one person - Martin MacDona, he managed to create a parody of a parody, the unbridled triumph of postmodernism and a feast of spirit. Compare his creation with paintings by Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez and Guy Ritchie, and not by chance, since brutal humor is carefully mixed with unobtrusive, subtle and allegorical in equal proportions. And it is extremely difficult to unambiguously determine the genre of what is happening during the timing of the plague action. This is a comedy of hyperabsurd, road movie, a parody thriller, a national anthem of American schizopathy. The cast is reminiscent of the performance of the star galaxy - Tom Waits, Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson, Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell and Ukrainian Sophie Marceau - Olga Kurylenko.
The heroes of the film will do unthinkable things: burn people alive, demolish their heads with a shotgun, shoot a woman in the stomach, and cut an objectionable chainsaw. This is the exclusive charm of psychopaths in the rivers of blood. Some watchers admitted that "Seven ..." is a horror film for the faint of heart, but they will not appreciate the irony present.
