Social and economic development of Russian regions

In the modern Russian economy, a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics of development of business entities allows us to formulate a conclusion about a certain stabilization of the social and economic situation in the country. Today, steady and stable growth of the corresponding internal state indicators is planned, the overcoming of social instability of society as a whole is being completed. Implementation of national priorities in agriculture, education, housing and health is also being carried out. With the help of effective public administration , a significant decline in production was halted .

With all these positive factors, it can still be noted that the socio-economic development of some regions of Russia still lags behind when compared with its more progressive “brethren”. An objective explanation of this condition is in the geographical position of the regions, their economic and historical features. It is precisely on the “pulling” of depressed and backward regions to the national average that the state policy of the regions should be directed, which should take into account the territorial features and individual potential of local business entities.

Socio-economic development is one of the main tasks of the policy of the Russian regions, during the implementation of which specialists can study reliable and complete information both in the context of individual regions and the state as a whole. Thanks to the effective implementation of these measures, the government will be able to quickly respond to identified inconsistencies.

When conducting an analysis of many approaches that allow us to evaluate the socio-economic development of a territorial unit, we can understand that today there is no single methodology that can be recognized as universal. This is due, first of all, to the presence of a large number of parameters that impede the corresponding analysis. In addition, some studies cannot be classified as complex, and therefore they do not reflect the current economic situation.

It is advisable to analyze the socio-economic development of territorial units, starting with the identification of factors that have the greatest impact on this indicator. Specialists in this branch of knowledge argue that these factors include financial, production, demographic, innovative and human potentials.

Based on these potentials, it becomes possible to formulate the main indicators of socio-economic development.

So, the financial potential is estimated by calculating indicators such as budget deficit or surplus, the amount of budget funds for each resident, deposits or deposits of both legal entities and individuals, per capita investment in fixed assets.

Innovation potential is characterized by internal research costs, the number of small enterprises per thousand population, the share of farming in grain production, the degree of activity of the innovation orientation of the business sector, etc.

Other potentials also have characteristics characteristic only of them.

Socio-economic development has its own focus, which is determined by a specific goal. With a positive orientation, we can say about progress, otherwise - about degradation or regression.

Socio-economic development may include the following aspects:

- production growth and increase in income;

- changes in various sectors of society;

- changes in habits, traditions and public consciousness.

Due to the presence of these aspects, the development of the region should be considered as a combination of various economic and social goals.
