Hypertension or hypertension is a very common disease in the modern world. The reasons for this are many - stressful situations, bad habits, and poor nutrition. Especially often hypertension is caused by increased consumption of sodium chloride, that is, ordinary table salt. Salt not only by itself contributes to an increase in pressure, retaining excess fluid in the body, but sodium ions in large quantities violate the subtle mechanisms of self-regulation of blood pressure in the body. The increase in blood pressure, which is characterized by hypertension, even to a small extent is manifested by unpleasant symptoms, such as: headache, increased fatigue, inability to concentrate on anything (distracted attention syndrome), which leads to a decrease in a person's working capacity. If the figures for increasing blood pressure are high enough, then a real threat to the patient’s life is created, since the likelihood of such a formidable complication as a stroke (or “brain stroke”) increases sharply. Normally, a person’s blood pressure averages 120/80 mm Hg pillar, an increase for a long time of these numbers above 140/90 can already mean the first stage of hypertension, and a sharp increase above 160/110 creates a real threat of stroke. Modern medicine has an extensive range of drugs to combat hypertension. But all medications, especially with prolonged use in large doses, along with the therapeutic effect, also have side effects, among which there are quite serious ones such as decreased vision.
In this case, the treatment of hypertension with folk remedies can be a way out, because our ancestors somehow coped with this scourge. Of course, we are not talking about a complete rejection of drugs. Alternative treatment of hypertension in most cases can be successfully combined with the means of official medicine, usually prescribed by a doctor. Folk remedies for hypertension were known long before the invention of drugs, and are successfully used to this day.
