Dmitry Orlov was born on October 7, 1971 in the city of Moscow. School years passed quite brightly, because little Dima was distinguished by violent imagination, constant leprosy and hooliganism. In the end, my mother decided to channel indefatigable energy into a more peaceful direction - creativity. At ten years old, he had already made his debut on the movie screen, although this was only a term paper of a student at VGIK. After that, he decided to start studying at an acting school with Vyacheslav Spesivtsev. This does not end the work of young people. In the ninth grade, Dima and his friends staged the performance “Farewell, ravine!”. According to him, he played the role of a lame dog in love with a dumb dog. The picture belonged to perestroika time, where the heroes could not survive. Dogs then ended up in heaven. This performance was so touching and sentimental that not only classmates, but also teachers were impressed. Dmitry claims that at that time he even started a star fever. No films with Dmitry Orlov can be compared with those childhood feelings.

Happy time and childish carelessness were interrupted by the death of his father. A 15-year-old boy had to take on the role of head of the family and take up the education of the younger ones. Instead of studying at the institute and having fun, Dmitry had to work to help his mother. The efforts were not useless, because the sisters and brother grew up wonderful people.
Meeting with Sergey Bodrov
After graduation, Dmitry Orlov decided to choose an acting profession. In 1996, he graduated from VGIK, but took part in the filming only four years later. His first role was the participation in the episode of the film "Brother-2." But this was enough, because Sergey Bodrov noticed him, after which the audience found out who Dmitry Orlov was. Filmography began to gain momentum. The next work was the role of Alexander Palych in the film "Sisters".
Later, Bodrov planned to use the actor in another film - Notes of a Doctor by Mikhail Bulgakov. But, unfortunately, he could not do this. As you know, the crew died under an avalanche.
Career
There was no point in dwelling on two roles, otherwise why were there all efforts? So the work continued, and soon in the film “Sky. Plane. Girl ”the main role was given to Dmitry Orlov. The filmography was gradually replenished with new films. This picture was shot according to the script of Renata Litvinova. She played a major female role. Of course, success largely depended on her professionalism, and Dmitry managed to perfectly play along with his partner, fitting into the created image. The following years were also fruitful in the field of creativity. Films with the participation of Dmitry Orlov were released, such as: “I am looking for a bride without a dowry”, “Instructor”, “Hope leaves last”, “Happy New Year, dad!”, “The Pack”. But one of the works that brought fame was the military drama "The First After God", where he played captain Marinin.
Desire to achieve a result
According to Dmitry, in the acting and any other profession, you need a desire to rise higher. Moreover, the goal should not be abstract, but quite specific. Only in this way appeared actor Dmitry Orlov. After all, after the first roles, he wanted to get the main role, and quickly reached the goal. Then there was a desire to star in a military movie, and again everything worked out. After the shooting, Dmitry admitted that he wants to play a role in a horror film. A few days later he received an offer to star in Igor Shavlak’s film "Trackman".

Thanks to his strong desire, Dmitry Orlov now plays the main roles in many films. The filmography of the actor is constantly updated with new paintings. In only two years (from 2007 to 2009), he took part in the filming of "Vorotil" films, the series "Semin", "Marine Patrol" and other equally famous projects. There was a period when Dmitry was often confused with another popular actor - Vladimir Vdovichenko. Today, no one will confuse them, because each of them has his own fans.
Conquering new peaks
Gradually, it became not enough that he became famous as an actor Dmitry Orlov. The filmography was replenished with new paintings, but he decided to test his strength in a new field of activity. Dmitry first acted as a director back in 2006, having shot the film “Gold of Koldzhat” in his script. After that, two more projects were released: Charter and General's Daughter. Having accumulated a little experience, Orlov began work on the full-length film “Moscow Fireworks”.
Directing did not supplant acting from the life of Dmitry Orlov. Soon, he again returned to the set to his usual work. So, the filmography of Dmitry Orlov was replenished with such paintings as “Mine. Exploded Love ”,“ Solar Eclipse ”,“ Katino Happiness ”, the series“ Made in the USSR ”, the melodrama“ Loner ”, the military film“ Deliver at Any Cost ”and many other paintings.
Unlike childhood, now Dmitry is not conceited, and he is not threatened with star disease. He is self-critical enough to his work. If he does not like the role, then it is likely that failure will follow. But there were also times when, in order to repay a loan, you had to agree to almost all roles. This actor does not hide, and calmly talks about the difficult times of his life.
The personal life of the actor
Dmitry married late enough. His wife was actress Irina Pegova. They met in Warsaw at one of the film festivals. Irina presented the picture "Walk", and Dmitry - "Sky. Plane. Girl". Both had sympathy, but if Irina immediately realized that she had met her soul mate, then Dmitry resisted for a long time and did not want to believe that he had found happiness. Together they lived for eight years, but still decided to leave. An ideal relationship destroyed Irina’s plans, for which work is more important than family and children. But as Dmitry admits, he also loves Irina, but their further life together is impossible.
