“The Life of Klim Samghin” is a series thanks to which Andrei Rudensky first made himself known. Since then, the talented actor, who celebrated the 57th anniversary this year, managed to star in about 70 films and television projects. Andrey Rudensky: biography of the star
The future actor was born in Yekaterinburg, which was then called Sverdlovsk, it happened in January 1959. One could hardly have imagined that Andrei Rudensky would become a star of the screen, since his family was far from the world of cinema. The boy was born in a military family, whose professional activity was associated with constant moving, so Andrei managed to change several schools.
The lyceum claims that in childhood he was a notorious bully, but he never had problems with law enforcement agencies, everything was limited to constant conflicts with teachers. He dreamed of different professions, was going to become a teacher, a doctor. He also had a desire to become an actor, but his mother and father categorically objected to this, dreaming of a “serious” profession for his son.
Student years
Andrei Rudensky made an impulsive decision to enter the Sverdlovsk Metallurgical College after graduation. He liked the building in which this educational institution was located. The specialty on which the young man stopped was called "Rolling production." The young man successfully combined his studies at a technical school with other occupations. At first he was carried away for some time by all-around, then he accidentally fell into the drama circle. Rudensky liked to play on stage, so he began to seriously think about the acting profession.
Nevertheless, after graduating from college with honors, he decided to continue his education at the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute, whose students at that time were considered an elite. During his studies at the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute, the young man spent most of his time in a theater studio working at the Youth Palace, often neglecting couples for this. The filmography of the actor began with a television project in which he was entrusted with the main role. Director Viktor Titov so wanted that the image of the central character of Samghin was embodied by a talented little-known actor that for the sake of this he even went into conflict with representatives of Goskino, who did not like his choice.
The role played by Andrei in this television project cannot be called simple, because the age of his character changed from 17 to 40 years as events unfold. Rudensky was able to introduce Klim Samghin as an ordinary person who has both positive and negative sides. Critics reacted favorably to the image he created, but the little-known actor never became a star after the release of this series, which consists of 14 episodes.
Success and failure
In the early 90s, Andrei Rudenskii did not sit without work, films and series with the participation of the actor came out from time to time. For example, he was invited to the television project “Sea Wolf”, the plot of which was borrowed from the work of Jack London. In this mini-series, Andrei embodied the image of Humphrey Van Weiden.
