You need to worry about getting it in advance so that no troubles overshadow the upcoming trip. The list of documents for obtaining an old-style passport.
For an adult:
- Photocopies of each internal page of the passport of the Russian Federation;
- an application for a passport in two copies, each of which should be certified with the seal and signature of the head at the workplace;
- four matte photographs in an oval, 3.5 x 4.5 centimeters in size;
- Photocopies of each completed page of the work book, certified by a seal at the workplace. If a person is retired or does not work, then photocopies are provided simultaneously with the original work book;
- if the passport has already been received and you change it, you must provide a photocopy of the main page on which all your personal data are located (name, full date of birth and date of issue of the passport);
- for men 18-27 years old, a photocopy of a military card with a stamp on the service in the army of the Russian Federation or a certificate in form 32 received at the military enlistment office must be presented;
- retirees will need to provide a copy of their pension certificate.
Documents for a passport that are required for children from 14 to 18 years:
- Photocopies of each page of the passport of the Russian Federation of the child, with the provision of the original at the time of receipt of the passport;
- photocopy of the issued baby's birth certificate;
- a photocopy of the insert on the child’s citizenship of the Russian Federation;
- if the child already had a passport and you change it, then you must provide a photocopy of the main page, which contains the photo, name, date of issue and date of birth of the child; application form in duplicate, each of which is signed by the parent;
- Photocopies of each page of the passport of the Russian Federation parent;
- four matte photos in an oval, the size of which is 3.5x 4.5 centimeters.
Documents for a passport that are required for children under 14 years of age:
- Application form for a passport in one copy signed by the parent;
- a photocopy of the child’s birth certificate with registration stamps affixed (an extract from the house book or registration certificate will be required ) and the child’s Russian citizenship ;
- Photocopies of each page of the passport of the Russian Federation parent;
- four matte photographs in an oval 3.5x4.5 centimeters in size.
To obtain a passport, you will also need to pay a state fee. For children under 14 years old, the state duty is half as much as for an adult. If for some reason you were refused a passport, the state duty will be refunded in full or in part. The refusal of extradition is based only on the existence of circumstances stipulated by federal laws. Documents for a passport (biometric) of a new sample are submitted in the same composition as for a passport of an old sample, but a note is put in the application form.
When filling out the application form, you need to know:
- the application can be filled out electronically or by hand. When filling manually, you can use blue or black ink and write in block letters;
- established liability for the provision of false documents and the completeness of the information that is indicated in the application;
- upon reaching a citizen of 18 years, he submits documents and fills out an application in person;
- for children under 18 years old, all documents are submitted by the parent;
- the application shall indicate not only personal data, but the presence or absence of reasons that may impede the departure from Russia, provided for by the Federal Law.
