The teenager Milo is in transition, so he often finds himself in the center of a scandal or a fight. The seven-year-old girl Maddy can not remain unattended for a minute, as it creates disaster at every turn.
The adversity of the main character does not end there. On the eve of Christmas, the girl is fired from work, her car malfunctions and her livelihood is rapidly running out. By the way, on the threshold of his house, Jules once sees an imposing stranger. It turned out to be the butler of the Duke of Castleberry (her distant relative, who is the grandfather of the girl's nephews). This gentleman never saw his grandchildren, as he had a fight with his son because he dared to marry a girl without a title. After the loss of his own child, the duke expresses a desire to see his grandchildren and invites them to visit for Christmas, along with the guardian. In another situation, the girl would never have gone to her arrogant relatives, but in the light of recent events decided to visit.
The duke’s house is a huge palace, from which children are delighted. Many comedy plots of the film perfectly beat small actors. "Princess for Christmas" is a picture of love, where the young prince (the owner’s son) becomes the main surprise for the girl. Naturally, the girl falls in love with him, however, she has a rival. The cunning lady Arabella is not averse to troubling an enviable groom and fights for his heart with all available methods.
